Do you live alone?
 

Noticed lots of people seem to share apartments/houses/shacks with other people (i.e. have roomates)

Wonder how much does this damage their produtivity (for those that really do work at home) :)

I live alone, I also had roomates. Some did damage my productivity and some where actually helpfull I guess it depends on the person you are with.

But I prefer living alone actually.

i live by myself as well... you enjoy all the freedom but its kinda lonely at times :(

20 years ago, maybe, but nowadays there is not time enough in the day to do everything one can do

I live with my son (still fighting custody battle for the other 3 kids) and until recently, also had my sister, her boyfriend and her 3 kids...it was insane...but soooo quiet now that they have their own place...

Sure, I live with my wife and son. I very love them both, so it's a pleasure to live with my own family :thumbsup

I honestly don't think I could live with someone these days. I haven't lived with a non-blood relative except a husband since I was in college. If I ever get married again, I plan on having separate houses ;)

I like having a roomate. I get bored when I sit at home by myself.

Bored at home = Go spend my paycheck at the bar

Bored at home = Chaffing

Either way, bad news.

I share my home with my dog and frog. The dog effects my productivity, but the frog is pretty much a loner.

I live with 3 roommates, all 3 women, 1 I ignore cause she is a freakin hippy and and annoys me. The other one is a control freak and give me a headache and I always respond like: uh uh mmm ok how do you think about it. The other one is cool and I can laugh with.

To answer your question: I'm glad that I have some distraction cause staring at a monitor all day can drive me crazy :) and i'm running out of SCRUBS episodes.

I live with my ex-husband and four kids. So, um, yeah. It definitely affects my productivity, lol.

im not....i live with my family. my father, mother and two sisters.
i don't think i can live alone, it will be very hard for me..
