BTW... why does it take so long for uploaded videos to go active on XTube? And why do I have to go through so much trouble to setup links that never get clicked because they're listed as "User Suggested Link" in a small font amongst a ton of other crap on the page?

The conversion delay is because there was faulty hardware in our conversion server and it crashed, so it got back logged with about 8000 videos, it's pretty much back to normal now. So you want what?? A hole page for you to display your link?

Well, considering that webmasters are what fuel your site with legitimate content, it'd be nice if the link at least used the text that we set up for it, rather than "User Suggested Link". Better yet, allowing the addition of links in the description would be awesome.

I have just over a million views to my videos and less than 1000 hits from XTube.

crumbs is all you can expect, they let you have a link just to make the site supposedly legit, when its really about using tons of sponsor content to send traffic to their own ads they sell

Be happy that you can post a link back to your site. Webmasters are not the only source or legitmate content, WMs are the source of super short clips that piss off the users who are looking for real amateur content.

We considered filtering content by user type, blocking users from search results and searching videos by duration. All of these ideas were thrown out because it would result in much less WM content views. At this point there is no way to deliver what the users want without screwing you WMs out of views.

Is someone not happy about ad placement? Hmmm... It's our site, we choose where ads appear. I thought it was a great idea to shove the User Suggested Link inside the description, so we did that right from the start. Then I thought it would be better to give WMs a 120x60 button, so we did that too, and put it in place of User Suggested Link, in the description of the video.

The bottom line is XTube spends time thinking about how to please the WMs and the users, and Both groups bitch endlessly about how we don't meet their needs properly.

Suck it up people. We give you all a place to host your shit, link to it, embed it, discuss it, jack off to it, meet people, and all sorts of other cool shit.

Yeah, that's a great attitude, jackass. I'll just stop submitting my 3-5 minute long, high quality clips.

Oh, and since you were such a jackass, I'll also ensure that more and more programs require you to take down their content.

I'm a jackass for making sure XTube allows WM's to continue posting, and linking? I can disable WM capabilities completely, if that is what you require to maintain your position that I am a jackass, but I do not want to take away the privileges of 38,848 WMs, just because you can't get past my post.

XTube likes and wants WMs to post, but we do not want clips under a minute. If you're posting 3 and 5 minute clips, you're not one of the WMs users are complaining about.

I think if you read it again there is a possibility that you might see the good I wrote, instead of the emotion you started with.
