What to do in Miami Fl? Must visits?
 

On our way to Internext in Hollywood Fl we visit Miami for 3 days before we go north to Orlando, before we go back to Hollywood.

On our schedule already, in Orlando, are the Spacecenter and Universal Studios.

From july 26th to the 30th we will be staying at Ocean Five at Miami South Beach.

It means three whole days in Miami.


Do you have suggestions to what we can't miss in Miami?

I plan on trying the surfing because I windsurf here in Denmark.
Besides that we haven't planned anything yet.

All recommendations are welcome.

Surfing in Miami, umm...

i live in fort lauderdale and avoid miami like the plague. i only go down there when i absolutely have to. i don't mean to rain on your parade, but it blows. come up this way...more to do and less chance you'll get in a knife fight. haha

Can you recommend anything in Fort Lauderdale?

BTW: Why is Miami so bad in your opinion?

Cuban food at Versailles, on 8th street!

Rent a car and drive the 4 hour trip to Key West, it is well worth it! But don't speed, cops there are a pain in the arse.
Visit Bayside, it is beautiful!
Miami Beach's clubs are busy and really nice at night, but if you're not into clubs, just cruise around Washington Ave or Collins Ave at night, on weekends.

Give bangbros some more reviews and you can stop by the office. You can drive around in a phantom and we will make sure you dont get stabbed.

I asked the same Question a few Weeks ago....

Rent a Car (convertible !!) and visit Miami Beach, its a must. You can do everything there and i think you will love it. Take a look at Ocean Drive, crazy people cool bars and a lot of fun.

Bayside (port of Miami) is also a nice Place to be.

Due to its cleanliness I liked the Ft. Lauderdale beach better. I guess this is especially true in summer with all the seaweed floating around in Miami, for some reason it just wasn't as abundant in Ft Lau.

Of course Miami beach is a lot more interesting than Ft. Lauderdale itself :-)

I don't think Key West is worth a visit in summer...

We are staying at Ocean Drive in the middle of all the bars and right next to the beach, so it sounds good what you write.

The hotel is Ocean Five.

Mac's Club Deuce. Only good bar on South Beach.

Any recommended strip bars?

Places to visit in miami:
Overtown, Opa-Locka, Liberty City, Little Havana, Little Haiti, and Carol City... don't forget a camera to document the trip on gfy and a bulletproof vest.

Places really to visit... The Pelican Hotel and Restaurant has great food on Ocean Drive and 8th. Some of the best pizza in america is at Spris on Lincoln Road. Prime 112 has the best steaks. If you're looking for really nice place, go to Setai, Delano, or the Sagamore. Lounge: Funkshion. Clubs: Snatch, Prive, Set, Cameo, Nikki Beach. Titty Clubs: Tooties, and i think Crazy Horse just opened.

When your in Miami, if you like fishing what so ever, you should take on of the charter boat fishing trips. They are a blast, even if your not an avid fisherman. Just look up on the internet for Miami fishing trips or something and you should find a bunch of places.

Gaurentee you will have fun, you will catch shark, redfish, snook, jack crevelle, pompano, sail fish, maybe some dolphin fish.

A little bit expensive but well worth it, if you find someone cheap you could probably go half a day (5 hours) deep sea fishing for 300 bucks, or full day of deep sea fishing for 600.

The more expensive ones go for around half day 400 full day 750-800

If you do go take a camera so you can take pictures. Also if you have a wife, some of the trips offer to stop and look for shells also.

like MATTZ said if you like fishing take advantage, the fishing down here is great and pretty much all the water sports are the shit except for surfing unless there is a hurricane the waves suck ass but kite boarding is big down here and if you windsurf it might be fun
