So as many of you know I did movie Special Effects for years. As it turns out this old friend of mine from FX days calls me up out of the blue. He heard I did porn and was all curious about it. During the call he mentioned he builds camera gear, and sent me an email of his site.

Go check it out. Jim the guy that builds that stuff is cool guy and is always looking for new rigs to build, so if you have any ideas or need anything cutom built he's the guy that can do it.

After hearing what he did I pitched him an idea for a roll mechanism which would actually be perfect for porn.

totally doable. Just try to make sure the guy shoots in the actual target focus area of the still cams. :)

:winkwink: After looking at the prices not too worried about a discount. Very reasonable considering what other companies charge for comparable products. I made my own "steady cam" setup. No its not a true steadycam, but it does its job. :) Couple of those on there Id like to have around though. :thumbsup

The whole term is "Special Effects Makeup Artist".

I did everything from mold making, to foam running, to painting, to every aspect of mechanics, to fabrication, and eventually worked my way up to over seeing all projects for an entire shop.
