Most any American with an iota of American Politics knew this was going to happen.

no surprise here but I figured it would be a pardon - he is still on probation and has to pay a $250,000 fine - criminal record

I expected Bush to issue Libby a pardon on his way out of office, but not this.

What a bunch of bullshit!!! Friggin' Paris Hilton served more time for a moronic misdemeanor.

I think Bush is trying to find out just how low his approval rating can go. Typically a president does all his pardons on the last day of office as close to a Friday when nobody will notice. This fucker has 1.5 years left basically. Nice.

It wasn't a pardon it was a commuting of sentence, and, he did it now because they were not going to allow Libby to delay starting his jail time. He can still pardon him when he leaves, which I am sure he will do.

is it just me or are you also getting a feeling that this administration is crocked ?
someone should just whisper to bush that these actions are not making him more popular but less so and it's time to resign.
