There in season now and I have been annihilating the hell out of them.

I probably have consumed close to 10lbs. this past week!

my girl made a rack of lamb with a fresh cherry and balsamic reduction last week that was out of this world. the cherries are off the hook this year.

I too have been gorging myself on those, apricots, and the last of the strawberries.

How ironic, I also picked up a 4lb. bag of apricots at Sams Club too! Between those and the fresh cherries, hmm, let's just say my pipes are clear! :1orglaugh

i'm a cherry addict - i grew up in the middle of a major fruit orchard region and would spend days as a kid in orchards eating cherries until i was sick.

the cherries today are huge, not a mark on them, must be some genetic engineering thing.

and yeah they do give you the shits.
