The new "Miss GFY" at the top and the old "Miss GFY" contest are two different entities entirely and have no relation to one another other than the name.

So the requirement of having a community presence, while being a requirement of the old contest, is not really a requirement of being in the header.

Disclaimer: I don't play golf with Lensman, so I don't know the rules for sure, but this is my take on how things are going now.

I am sure Nicole is a sweet person. People are just pointing out that the contest winner was supposed to be voted on by the members of GFY. The winner was also supposed to be an active member of the GFY community. The last two winners did not have the most votes at all and they are not active members of this website. So if the rules have changed, it would be nice to let the members on here know. It is stupid to ask people to vote if the votes are not even going to count. If it is a paid spot now, then we should all know that so we can buy a month if we want to.
