not sure if its done to prevent them from licking their wounds or for easier communication with aliens but I can honestly say that I have never seen a dog with a cone on its head in my life......

I've never seen a dog wearing one in real life.

ztik 07-01-2007 09:53 AM

SexualDragon 07-01-2007 10:04 AM

It's part of the budget plan for Direct TV.

It's very common for dogs, and in some cases cats, up here in Canada. Our dog had to wear one for a few days after we had her spade. And yes, it's just to stop them from licking the wound/tearing out stitches.

CurrentlySober 07-01-2007 10:58 AM

Common in the UK too...

Violetta 07-01-2007 01:35 PM

KILL_FRENZY 07-01-2007 03:06 PM

Dirty Dane 07-01-2007 03:09 PM

Quite usual.
