Computer Problem!!!

Been pulling my hair out trying to figure this out! I got a new computer! Dual core Pentium D, 2 Gig ram, Asus mother board! all round decent system!

OK! I have two problems, mouse seems to stall, and is slow to move at times, and if I am playing music, a similar thing happens, music becomes distorted, almost like the machine is running out of memory or something? my old machine never did this?

Besides pick my PC and toss it out the window, anyone with some idea of what this is? :error

We will run a series of tests.

Is your computer plugged in?

Mr Pheer 06-30-2007 11:16 PM

is your monitor turned on?

sounds like an interrupt problem - maybe soundcard+mouseinterface are using the same irq

Hello sir my name is Abu and I am here to assist you with your problem today.

Let's start by checking if you actually have a computer. Do you have a computer? It might look like a vacuum cleaner with a television screen attached to it.

depending on where you bought it, check for running applications that you dont need. Many PC Manufacturers put tons of "crap-ware" that you don't need.
