Interesting...

eroswebmaster 06-30-2007 06:35 PM

Nah...don't think so...don't really care.

notabook 06-30-2007 06:36 PM

God DAMN that narrator's voice is the most boring thing to listen to. After a few minutes it was literally putting me to sleep. The guy who narrated should put out a "sounds to sleep by" CD, he would sell millions.

buzzy 06-30-2007 06:44 PM

i think youll also find everyone outside america hates america

:1orglaugh :1orglaugh Too damned funny and very boring....

The guy is not even a film maker. Film makers don't make trash with the sole aim of attacking an individual they obviously don't agree with - they point out a different picture to that of Moore. That never happened.

The whole movie is just a diatribe of "how we need to hate Moore" because "he hates America" and has a "personality disorder" :1orglaugh

Typical stupid US trash politics...

Dailydiapers 06-30-2007 10:18 PM

Michael Moore:
"I want you to have reasonable health care"

Anti-Moore Crowd:
"FUUUCCCCKKKKK YOU! Nazi"

I don't get it.

Anti-Moore Crowd:
"And you're fat too!"

GatorB 06-30-2007 10:26 PM

Accoridngto the neo cons and Fox News if you don't agree with the republican party you hate America. Wasn't our country founded by peole that didn't like the current form of government they were under? Some how now disagreing with the government makes you an American hater. Seems like it's TRADITION to disagree witht he government. Going by the logic of the neo cons those that hate Clinton and the democratic Congress were American haters too then. Fact is that if you are against speaking out against the government you are an American hater since it's part of the Constituion. And technically you're commiting treason and should be shot.

bl4h 06-30-2007 11:00 PM

Yeah and everyone who agrees with the system IS a brainwashed sheep right?

Paul Markham 06-30-2007 11:01 PM

America is a great country, with great resources, great people and will always be important in the world scale.

However people who see criticism as an attack, are telling you more about their beliefs and confidence in their way of life than anything the attacker says.

If a Muslim thinks a book, few will read, portraying Mohamed badly will have any effect on the worlds view of their religion they have little faith in Islam. Their reaction had a bigger effect on the worlds perception of their religion.

If an American thinks Micheal Moore, is the problem. They have little confidence in their system.

Michael Moore is nothing to worry about. Students killing students is, a President who can invent and twist evidence to wage a war is, a medical system that denies millions health care is. Criticising someone who shows you a problem is the biggest problem.

Yes he's a crap researcher, in it for the money and bends the truth. But is he right or wrong about the problem?

I'm talking about Moore here and not Bush. :1orglaugh

If you think the US health care system is great or even close to perfect and doesn't have serious flaws then you are retarded. even those that are agaisnt universal health care agree pur system is fucked up right now. They just disagree with the solution.

acctman 06-30-2007 11:16 PM

its not hating america its the way its run. at times i hate this country, the gov't and the media make it as if America can do no wrong and that we can do whatever we want without being questioned... but if someone tries that approach towards us, its a different store...

i've never given Moore much credit for being fair or unbiased, as a matter of fact i cut him down fairly often. but i do give him credit for taking the side i agree with, lol.

he created a product he knew would sell and he has made a great deal of money off it, all the while giving this impression that he's been doing it for the people. fact of the matter is that while he's out bitching about how the rich are making money off the poor, and lower-middle america is somehow getting raped, he's actually making a huge profit himself from the frustration of the poor, and there is no way he can not know this.

so in conclusion, fuck michael moore...

CDSmith 07-01-2007 07:33 AM

I've never gottten the impression he hates America. He's simply found a way to garner fame and fortune by pointing out what he and a lot of other Americans feel is wrong with it, that's all.

If you want to make your car run better you point out what's wrong with it, and fix it.

I agree with you on many things, but take into account that he is raising awareness on issues that need to be address and the mainstream media don't cover. Moore is making people question authority, with some degree of success or another, but at least you have to give him credit for it.

bonesaw 07-01-2007 09:15 AM

I'm looking forward to seeing it. I'm also a die hard small government libertarian. The government spends and spends like there's no tomorrow, but when it comes to using tax money to benefit the people who need it, it's all the sudden socialistic.

The way I see it, healthcare costs so much because the big players set the price, not the market. How much does it cost some of you to buy insurance? Americans should feel like they live in a country where they're free to better themselves. People shouldn't be running to full time jobs as soon as they can just because they want benefits in case they or their family gets sick. I'd much rather pay a bit more in taxes (or ideally less after all the other garbage is cut out) and live in a country where people are educated and innovative than pay less and have people striving to be good little worker bees with benefits.

Nah, only haters hate.

Maybe when your country gets hit a few more times by the Islamofascists you will be more sympathetic to our plight.

Hey.. idiot! Because the US got hit on 9/11 is not the first time a country has experienced terrorism.

I never saw much "sympathy" for the UK when the administration was engaging in dining and fund raising for the IRA when they were blowing up people.

Any hate comes from blind idiots like you who clearly have no clue of *anything*. Now.... nicely - go fuck yourself :thumbsup

Only if you think all republicans are total idiots. In reality, it's only the great majority of them, quite a few have actually admitted that this film has opened their eyes. Admittedly, most conservatives are jackoffs more concerned about 'winning' an argument than about the state of their country and it's direction, but there are a few of them out there that can hold a reasonable conversation and actually ponder criticism.

hey dummy

facism is an actual political system that has actually existed at several points in world history, and it couldn't possibly be any further from Sharia law. Must be nice to be that thick, no complications in your world huh? I't allllll black and white, all the time.

Michael Moore Hates America? Interesting. Does it mean that if he filmed a movie about how great US health care system is, picturing it as a superb, ideal operation where every single citizen is taken care of and every single citizen had nothing but good things to say about it - if he threw a bunch of lies at everyone, then he would get a label - Michael Moore Loves America?

Of course not. However, there is a good chance that he would get a cabinet position.

Just a cabinet position? :-)

I thought they might make him President - but there is a need to check out his attitude to abortion, gay rights and religion blah. We can't have any old schmuck who does not have an opinion on the main qualifications for the Presidency :)

Moore and Soros are neo-communist assholes, no better than neo-cons.

Pest and Cholera, Cholera and Pest :P

America is doing great, the problem is that the world doesn't. You need a lot of poor countries to make a rich one, world economics mystery just revealed.

That's exactly what makes the US "great" - utter imbeciles like that *lol*

Never seen webmasters from any other country utter as much total garbage as those from the US. Obviously there is a education issue which may be a priority - but hell, at least it's amusing :)

Heard of a country called IRAQ? You fucking invaded it because YOU fuckin wanted to you. You lied out of your arses telling everyone you had PROOF of big nasty weapons of mass destruction. Ummmm did you even find a fuckin' slingshot!?!!?!?! If you don't think its obvious that you are only there to set up your puppet government and get the cheap oil flowing then you are truly nuts. When the people of Iraq have the audacity to defend their homeland you call them all terrorists.

Newsflash!!! You mother fuckers have more weapons of mass destruction than anyone else!!!! Turn off fox and friends and pull your head out of your arse.

His location says UK. You do know people besides the U.S. have been victim to terrorist attacks? In fact I do believe the UK has been hit many many more times than the U.S.

Seriously, watch the news :2 cents:
