Paysite Management Scripts?

So what do people use now?
I know CARMA, which fits my requirements but is so fucked up meaning it's template system and I hate monthly fees.
Anything out there which can be just bought?
Basically, I do not even need it to protect the members area - just create it.
It should be also able to create screenshots and have a template system. All simple and customizable.

Anything?

MAS rocks

Russian 06-30-2007 04:26 PM

Read above. Mas also requires monthly payments.

Robbie 06-30-2007 04:33 PM

I didn't even know there were scripts to build a paysite! LOL!
Doesn't anybody just sit down at their computer and use a little creativity and build it themselves anymore? You know there are a lot of WYSIWYG editors out there if you can't do html.

He's talking about MANAGING a paysite, not building one.

There's quite a big difference there.

Sounds like he wants a cookie cutter script to make it and maintain it to me.
Again...what for? Just do it by hand for God's sake. It will be more original and make more money than all those sites that look identical out there.

LilBro 06-30-2007 04:49 PM

www.ThePaysiteCMS.com best CMS program around....checkout ALL the features, nothing comes close.

Originality can be achieved with a good template. Plus would you rather spend all your time updating your site by hand; or marketing, and selling it? :2 cents:

OMFG... $30k is a serious asking price... One could hire a team of programmers and have a custom CMS system implemented for $6k easy. 6 month support comes standard and any additional features can be paid for at later date as the need arises, but $30k...

If original post was about CMS, then I'd recommend checking out pligg.com which is an open source CMS, kind of the same thing as phpbb.com when it comes to free forum scripts. There are hundreds of programmers familiar with pligg.com script and can customize it for you to fit your site at a reasonable rate. You can find them on freelance site such as getafreelancer.com or scriptlance.com

That's a good question. I guess in my case I like to spend my time carefully updating the site. Marketing isn't a problem for me... I couldn't imagine what I would do with my free time if all I was gonna do was market it. LOL! But seriously, that's just not something I'm familiar with. I built a paysite. Kept it simple. Did everything myself. And it's making great money. Hard work + originality = money. At least that's the way it works for me. Not trying to say you guys aren't right...I just know that from owning TGP's for the last 8 years, that the ones that really sell are NOT the ones that look like all the others.
And yeah, if someone came at a template with a lot of creativity and originality then they could make something good. But why would they? To save time? I guess that would be so with all the .css stuff.
All that new-fangled stuff is Greek to me. I just do it nice and old fashioned. And it works for me.
If a template works for you guys...then more power to ya. I'm just saying that nobody NEEDS a template or a script or anything. Just yourself and a few hours of your time. :thumbsup

I can do custom for you for 2-4k depending on needs and if you have about a month to wait before I start. Definately one to stay away from is sitedepth. I've been playing with it last few days and its *HORRIBLE*. Very inflexible and buggy

Awiz is really good for the price. You could pay a lot more and get a lot less. They'll even help you template it for a good rate and their support is decent.

Miguel 07-01-2007 12:18 AM

+1 for Awiz

Robbie 07-01-2007 07:05 AM

Hey MixPhoto, great site! I just signed up to promote it. I have a quick question for you...
This is my traffic link to you http://zigi-zigi.com/?ref=83
I'd like to have that open onto your main page and not the warning page since I'll be linking that off of my tgps. How do I do that?
