First the disclaimers... I don't work for Marc.. I barely know Marc other than when he hit me up to promote his site and the few times we've chatted briefly on ICQ since then.. And he only hit me up as we have a niche page trade on Hoes.com.

After 6 years of doing this (come July), I don't get "excited" about new sites any more and am very cynical about all the hype etc. But I think Marc really has something here.. Back in 2001 when I started I was making fantastic conversions with the Influxbucks movie site. You could search for the pornstars, you could watch samples of the movies (I think it was a free join in order to watch the samples).. and people were eating it up.. Of course they then dissappeared and fucked me over for a bunch of cash. Learned a lot from that experience.

IMO MovieRoom.com comes the closest to that same "feeling".. Yes, plenty of movie sites have the searching etc. but I think their implementation is crap. It's simply implemented, not implemented in a way that the surfer would like. MovieRoom doesn't have the quantity of DVDs yet that others have, but from my brief talks with him, he really seems to be going at it in the fashion that all the big sites do, listen to what your members say and give them what they want. Plus the site is clean and simple.. So far so good...

He has over 5,000+ FHGs for you to use. Most are "dup'd" (different clips but from the same scene) 1-5 times so even if you say the average is 3, that's still over 1700 FHGs and they're broken down by niche which is what really makes this work well.

How much? 50% revshare on full price memberships.. Yesterday I checked and all time I'm doing about 1:880 uni which isn't bad at all considering it's a full priced membership off mostly FHGs on TGPs. But the best thing is that I'm at over $40 per sale all time so far. That is the best revshare I've ever promoted (previously my best was around $22 per sale but trial memberships), but then that might not be saying much given I don't really promote all those teen solo sites etc.

So if you need more movie galleries etc., give him a try.

What can I say? This is the ultimate type of compliment. I'm glad to see you've enjoyed working with the site. I hope the new tools help you double your current payout results. I think we can make that happen.

I take my time with this stuff. I'm not one of those "get rich quick" webmasters trying to push out a ton of shit tours with the same back-end. This site is 2 years in the making and just now getting going and getting noticed.

Webmastering is fun, but damn, you have to have the patience to see things through!

Conversions on MovieRoom with MGP traffic is simply awesome and that's just from the hosted movie galleries that i'm running. My other category campaigns are even better. You did a great job on the site Marc......great thread!

Just so you know... we just released 50+ niches worth of banners. They are all niche-specific and work very well with the niche-specific links. That's how I market movieroom from hoes.com.
