A thought about the iPhone
 

Is there anything stopping someone from ditching their cell phone plan and just using the built-in WiFi? Maybe even with Skype or other VOIP? It's a great little device from what I've read and seen. I'd love to have something similiar, but without the cell plan.

The official plan has it rolled into one so you could not do that.
