Seen the new lincoln pick-up trucks?

They are pretty nice. I saw one last night rolling 20" dubs with custom paint and xenon lights.

What good is a pick up truck like that? It's unlikely you are going to toss an old engine in the back or haul deer carcasses with it so why bother?

If you want a *real* pick up, look at a 79 Chevy.

kmanrox 08-31-2002 12:39 PM

my new car is going to be a tuk tuk

spend more on repairs then the lincoln is worth! ahahhaha

i think its a nice new style, look at the interior. shit, i know so many times i have had to haul shti where it woulda been easier to have a pick up truck :)

twistyneck 08-31-2002 12:42 PM

I don't think so. Parts are cheap, repairs are easy, and they run forever.

Plat 08-31-2002 12:43 PM

it looks like a tugboat

They've been out for a while now. A friend of mine at the office has one. So far only 240 or so have been sold, but they're going to keep building them for the 2003 model year.

They run around $54,000 or so. Kind of like the Lincoln Version of the Escalade EXT.

payrollpete 08-31-2002 12:45 PM

$54k pretty pricey

the interior is probably the nicest part

all lincolns have amazing interiors though

i bet it is one comfy, smooth riding truck and probably enough power to do most things other trucks cant!

SleazyDream 08-31-2002 12:48 PM

i rented an 03 lincon navagator in the maritimes this summer, the interror was nice but it was totally sucked out for power

payrollpete 08-31-2002 12:51 PM

navigators are pretty heavy

i prefer them over escalades though

a friend told me to grab a navigator or denali, because the escalade was kinda fishy when your turning, the lincoln turns alot smoother

i guess if it really lacks enough power for you, chip it or drop a super charger in the engien and you'll get the boost of power :)

It is a really nice riding vehicle. The inside of the bed is done up in stainless steel and is accent lighted, etc. I'm pretty sure it has air conditioned seats as well.

kosmic 08-31-2002 04:02 PM

not bad, seems a bit pricey for a pickup

Mikeee 08-31-2002 04:10 PM

Change for a dollar?

JFK 08-31-2002 04:55 PM

Much prefer the Navigator my self, I saw the pickup when they first came out , I did not think much of it .

Techie Media 08-31-2002 04:58 PM

Well I do Love the ride and power of the Navigator. The only bad thing is that they suck more gas then a Camel drinks water.
Heres my toy,:winkwink:
