XxXotic 08-31-2002 07:50 AM

nice as hell, i was looking for one of those. Now I know where to look!

BJ 08-31-2002 07:54 AM

my only concern is that the table top glass will get all messed up from evaporation, kinda like fish tank hoods do.

XxXotic 08-31-2002 07:58 AM

yeah that could be a problem, as well as someone being at your house and dropping something on the glass, or it getting hit by the vacumn cleaner and busting the bottom out and ruining your carpets and shit. Lemme know how the condensation thing goes if it isn't bad I might have to snatch me up one of those things, my cat would love it :thumbsup

cherrylula 08-31-2002 08:09 AM

Those things are cool... my cat would be way thrilled.

Just don't have any drunken parties! I have seen more than one person get drunk and fall through a glass table. Not fun.

xxxtera 08-31-2002 08:12 AM

oh my fucking god, thats bad taste man!

Evil Chris 08-31-2002 08:15 AM

break out the lava lamps! :glugglug

Fletch XXX 08-31-2002 08:17 AM

What they fail to show you is one that has been an aquarium for a few mkonths, they no longer look like that I bet.

I bet they get dirtier and lets not forget the pleasing smell of a good aquarium.

hehehe

all in allmight be cool....

but Id think it would get yucky after a few weeks or so....

You forgot a couple hits of acid!

kosmic 08-31-2002 08:19 AM

Thats fucking nice. My friend had a larger one that he used for a kitchen table. Only problem is it throws you off when you have fish swimming right under your meal.

I would tend to agree, Ill just have to wait and see. I could always fill it with just water and some cool blown glass or something.

BJ 08-31-2002 08:23 AM

playa 08-31-2002 08:39 AM

buddy of mine has one,, but his was custom made,
its just clear plastic glass and done real nice

about condesation it didn't happen and there wasn't any noticable odd smell coming from it

BJ 08-31-2002 08:41 AM

Fletch XXX 08-31-2002 08:41 AM

Well its certain that the more you take care of it, cleaning etc the better it will be.
Just keep it clean, looks cool.

I set up an aquarium last year and all my sharks died within a few months....

;(((

PhilipX 08-31-2002 09:08 AM

What has to be done with the fish aquarium. Did you buy another table where you can sleep also?

as long as you're not some slob, cleaning an aquarium takes 15-20 minutes a week MAX

get catfish and small shark, they are bottom feeders and will keep the gravel for the most part very clean as they will eat all day everyday.

Algae? get sucker cats, yeah theyre ugly but 2 small ones per 30 gallons of water will keep you algae free. I have 2 aquariums, 30 galls each and spend less then 30 minutes a week keeping them clean, and my tanks are spotless

the Shemp 08-31-2002 10:10 AM

How do you hide the wires to the filter and pumps?

The pump and filter is submersible, and I believe all the wiring is integrated. (I hope)
