i dont think its just candid... my sites are down too and i use techiemedia... candid, smutserver, techie, lightningfree.... everything is down... all these big boys...

Im not stuck in a contract and I am sick of all the dowtime.

I have documented 12 major outages since May 14th..

Thats 12 outages in 3 months. I've asked what exactly the 99.9% uptime gurantee is and never recieved an answer.

Perhaps someone here knows what it entails?

Yes. It's all up....but this is a regular feature.

Gosh it's too bad that some hosts make you sign a contract. You know, not all hosts make you do that... In my opinion if you're not happy you should be able to move anytime you want.

I still don't understand how they're down if they truly have so many backbone providers - that's supposed to not be possible. Remember, Candid Hosting has a 0.00% downtime guarantee!

After all, it's where the Big Boys Call Home!

if anyone wants to host on the network i do i would be happy to bring anyone under me.

They have multiple OC3's from Teir 1 providers along with 2 core routers and a couple edge routers, two ASN numbers, and one GIG-E link.

I can give you pricing of $1.20 per gig plus $20 per RU space.

Oh, and no contracts at all.
