Apple is smart. Generate some hype about a cool product and stand bye their position. Once the market has accepted it, and is buying it, they release an upgrade that is a Must Have and everyone puts theit 1G on eBay for the 2G.

I'm sticking with my Treo. The iPhone is cool looking, but aside from that doesn't seem to have all the features my Treo has had for a while now already.

iphone will be a complete flop.

I refuse to buy it.

The ones that do buy it, will eventually feel retarded, and switch back to a real phone.

At least half of those things are software features.. cant get everything into a rev A product. Hell, they had to push Leapord back a couple months to get iPhone out the door.

The iPhone software, I'm sure, will be more of an evolving platform, especially compared to other mobile phone platforms. Just like OSX or Windows on your computers. Updates get released, new features are added.
