what I plan on doing, is once we decide to buy... (cuz we're renting this condo right now... our appraiser says to wait).... I'm gonna cut and mount into the main wall, the tv and the rack system so everything is flush with the wall. I'll hafta build and access booth on the other side of course, if I can't position it so there's a walk-in closet directly behind it, but I think that'll be the shit.... tons more space in the main room, looks better, everything is hidden and looks like it was built into the place...

but positioning has to be perfect, cuz that fucker is 7 feet tall. Plus, I still got more parts and components on order for it.... shipping to Maui is a fuckin' bitch... just got two orders for an additional drawer and 4 blank spacer panels (all anodized and brushed of course).... fuckin' shit ran $400 bucks.

soon as the MA engineers get the rest of my faceplates cut and shipped, I'll get a pic of the rack in it's full glory..... I can't wait! This thing has been a long time in the making and it's almost done..... life will soon be complete..... :glugglug

By the way, if anyone needs a custom shelf and faceplate for an MA ERK rack SAT-B50 DTV component.... I got one for sale.... can't use it here on Maui. I'll cut it loose for $80 bucks.

nice thing about mine is I can move the TV forward or backward and take it with me if I ever sell the house.

bah.... a good widescreen HDTV is only $2 to $4k... if you sell and move, just buy a new one.... or take it with and rebuild the walls.
