    Lake Tahoe Fire

It's getting pretty bad, 225 homes destroyed and it's still not contained at all. I hope they can get the fire under control soon before more homes get destroyed or people get hurt. Is there anyone on the forums who live around the area? If so I hope that you all stay safe, and your homes intact.

Heres a link to a news report if you wanna read more about it:

yes it is an amazing place to live. I live about 20 miles west as the crow flies.

I was in Tahoe palying poker on Friday and it was perfect weather until about 4 when the wind kicked up. my first thought was that a fire now would be really bad. 50mph winds in the forrest on a hot day are bad news.
