Is it bad to order food when there's a huge thunderstorm outside?

I just did but i feel kinda bad :Oh crap

tranza 06-25-2007 11:15 AM

Why would you feel bad???

candyflip 06-25-2007 11:15 AM

That's the exact reason WHY delivery exists. I send my delivery girl out when it rains. That's what I pay her to do.

Deej 06-25-2007 11:17 AM

youre just raising insurance rates is all

ADL Josh 06-25-2007 11:22 AM

if you tip good enough than it shouldn't be a problem

needlive 06-25-2007 11:45 AM

Yep, few days ago I faced the same conscious problem and have to say it's bad. I don't order meals in such bad weather, who knows maybe it gets worse and poor guy/girl gets in trouble cos I wanted a pizza? Not a question here.

Chris 06-25-2007 11:46 AM

last month i did
it was REALLY bad here in texas
took 2 and half hours for a 45 min delivery but the guy made it and the food was still hot
he got a 20$ trip tho

wife made me

TG Rebecca 06-25-2007 01:03 PM

i don't think it's all that bad.. like someone else mentioned, it's why delivery exists. :) i mean if it's like tornados and blizzards, maybe that's pushing it. but for a thunderstorm i'd order it if i wanted it. :)

Vick! 06-25-2007 01:33 PM

Its just alright. I'd not consider ordering in such weather but as you already have done give the guy good tip, he will be happy.

TubeTitans_SusieQ 06-25-2007 01:34 PM

yea as long as you tip well, that's their job, they know what they're getting into. How bad is the rain? is it a waterfall? that'd be funny lol

JayDeeZee 06-25-2007 01:37 PM

Fuck that!

Order that shit, the don't tip if the box gets water in your house.

JP513 06-25-2007 01:43 PM

Nothing wrong with it at all. I delivered for Dominos Pizza when I was 16-19 . . . delivery people LIKE bad weather. That's because business picks up with more volume AND better tips from people who see them working hard in bad weather.:2 cents:

Antonio 06-25-2007 01:53 PM

why do I get the feeling that all the Morrocans places in Holland get the most calls in such weather

Andiz 06-25-2007 02:04 PM

Don't worry dude.....

when there's a thunderstorm, you shouldn't be using the PC

direxxx 06-25-2007 02:36 PM

Yeah, as long as you tip nicely, no worries.

fbrtopic 06-25-2007 02:41 PM

I used to do delivery, and it's what you're payed to do, so no, not bad. I do it. I also tip really well though.

Azure Paulie 06-25-2007 02:52 PM

Yes for the delivery guy and no for you.

jalami 06-25-2007 02:55 PM

It's worse when you're in a country where the delivery guys have these little 125cc bikes. Poor guys.
