as much as i hate that, i really hate sponsors that fuck over other content producers. its a huge issue lately too. industry of thieves all the way around. not everyone, but many don't care who's pocket they take nickles from.

I know a sponsor who is still using galleries of someone they were supposed to take down over 2 years ago.... wait til i make that post

That's Shannon from SinIsHer.com. She's retired and has been trying to have that profile removed for years! That's really lame that they keep fake profiles up. I really hope this gets resolved very soon.

I just tried pulling up the profile and it looks like the pics in question have already been removed. We've got a great customer service department and it looks like they've already done their job.

A1r3k, it's user submitted content. Whenever someone has ever contacted us and given us a heads up about stolen pics- we've always pulled them.

The profile is removed- refresh the page. It was removed before someone even sent me this link. It's called customer service, and it works. If you have a complaint let someone know....

im sure you are good at what you do, and this is in no way an attack on you. but its total bullshit to leave up profiles that people ask you take down, then change the login info so they can't change it.

Why won't you answer your ICQ? I'm sorry if it seems as though I'm taking offense- but I think by the title of this thread I'm not out of line by feeling this way. It just seems that if you want to talk to someone directly you'd make an effort / if you want to stir up drama, make a post in a public forum.

The profile is gone. I can't delete the record because she paid with a credit card, but none of her information is visible to others, so I'm not sure I see where there is still a problem?

We are good at what we do. We require users to send an email to remove the profile because it's an adult dating site. It's not out of the ordinary for another party to try to remove someone else's profile.

you are correct, i did want drama since your company acted shady from the get go and did not remove her profile when she requested it to be.

how would you feel if a dating site was using your old profile you wanted removed, then locked you out of your account and kept it live?

its funny how i was able to have it removed in less than 24 hours since i posted this thread. it seems that gfy gets faster results than icq's or emails

The profile was removed before someone ICQed me with this thread, so obviously someone contacted customer service and they took care of it. So whatever emails were sent yesterday did the job.

For answering to what happened in the past, I don't really know for sure, and unless you are she, neither do you. As far as locking her out of her account, there was a time at which she was banned for advertising her site, but she resolved that with our community department and was later allowed back onto our site. The ban was never returned and the password on the account was never changed. That's really all I feel comfortable releasing. For more information on the account she can contact our customer service team directly.

As far as working faster then ICQ- how would you know? You never tried to contact me, and now that someone sent me your ICQ you won't even answer. That's class.

Alot of dating sites don't remove profiles- and in fact alot of them sell them to other dating sites. Do your research, people try to sell profiles on GFY all the time. We're one of the companies that don't.

Half the information you have on this user's account is wrong, so you can't can't claim to know the whole story any more then I can. If she asked to remove her account sometime in the past and it fell through the cracks then I apologize, but obviously someone contacted customer service about it yesterday and it was resolved for them.

The fact is this issue was resolved because someone contacted or customer service- the first step in the correct way to handle any issue a customer has with a business. Customer service didn't receive a link to a thread on GFY. We found out about it because someone outside the company was kind enough to give me a heads up this morning via ICQ- by which time the issue was already resolved.

this one is going to fester for a little while until i am certain that the sponsor has no intention of working with me to take out the scammer.

Here's the deal- that chick works nights. She doesn't even get into the office until after this post was made, so to imply that this post was a last resort doesn't hold water. Furthermore, even if you had sent her the link, she works in customer service, she doesn't even know what GFY is- let alone care.
