Re: Parisite Hilton getting $1 Milion from NBC for post-jail interview
For those of you who haven't heard about this yet...
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main...whilton122.xml http://www.tvsquad.com/2007/06/21/is...-an-interview/ http://www.latimes.com/entertainment...dlines-entnews "Instead, the heiress apparently agreed to sit down with Vieira, nixing Lauer, who recently told CNN's Larry King that the ruckus over Hilton was "not the kind of story that gets me out of bed in the morning." "What has she done except, you know, get in her car drunk one time and then go get in the car again with, you know, an expired license?" Lauer asked King last week." One unnamed NBC employee was quoted on local radio as saying "She's no role model for today's young girls and teens, it's very irresponsible of the network (NBC) to shed such light and give her such attention" Agree? Disagree? Don't give a rat's ass? Personally I think it's utterly retarded and agree with the above quote, but am not surprised at all at the stupidity of millions of my fellow humans who seem to have nothing going on in their lives other than to sit glued to the tabliod programs that churn out and regurgitate this crap every day. And yes, in and amongst all that, I'd probably still hit it. :D |
she will make 10s of millions from this jail time
now interviews, later book, then a movie then probably a jail museum or something :) |
At least now that she's got a criminal record her sorry ass won't be able to come to Canada.
God Bless the American Justice system ;-) |
I read about that yesterday... It's just insane....
|
that's simply not fair
|
She's a total business woman. Smart as hell and playing the game perfectly.

but this is more a comment on "checkbook journalism" From today's paper... http://www.latimes.com/entertainment...ck=2&cset=true I thought there were new laws in place prohibiting ex-convicts from profiting from their crimes, charges, infractions etc. I guess I was wrong. It only applies to "felons", not mere idiots. |
The entire story about money in exchange for interview by a news division was bogus, according to nbc. Maybe access hollywood or some rag gossip entertainment fake "news" program pays, but not the actual news divisions of networks.
In other PH news, a handwriting expert who studied her handwriting says Paris is slow witted but methodical. Theres the PH fix for the day. |
