Search engine submitters?

Would you advise using them (topdog, dynamic sub. tgpware, etc..)? What is the best way to go about getting SE traffic?

build, optimize, submit....rinse and repeat.

I wrote a review on some of the submitter software out there:

Stay away from TopDog, the company is having some internal problems and I revoked my review I had on them a few weeks ago (they had a top review). The product is good, but the company is shaky.

But of course they do, there are places at the top for everyone LOL

SE submission programs are a waste of time, it's easier/better to do it all manually. It's also never as simple as just submitting and forgetting.

Well thank you for the responses. So what is the best way as far as optimizing and submitting?

I see your in PA, will you be going to the conference in Philli next weekend?...if yes I would like to meet you?

don't submit, it doesn't help much.

dos:
swap links as much as you can. build your own small private linklists and hubs. crosslink your pages. have everything linked with oldfashioned hardcoded style.

donts:
stay away from toplists and lists giving you a xxxxx.cgi?3439 link back. do not spam or make too many similar pages.

if you find good linklists then you have to wait 2-4 months and you will see results.

i am still watching great results with it.
site1 links to site2,4,6,8
site2 links to site3,5,7,9
site3 links to site4,6,8,10
site4 links to site5,7,9,11
site5 links to site6,8,10,12
site6 links to site7,9,11,13
...
...

... it's just a shitload of work to keep track of what is linked with what, if this gets me banned all the tgps will be banned, amazon will be banned, however.

I don't think that's entirely true. There's a difference between cross linking pages and creating doorway pages. Many sites are in "networks" that will obviously link to every other site in the network, thus, creating the cross link.

Hell, even Yahoo does it. I dobut their reason is for link popularity, they do it for the user's benefit.

http://www.yahoo.com

Go to the bottom of the page:

Local Yahoo's

All the various international yahoo pages have those links, which creates the cross link effect. So obviously, there is a difference between doorway cross linking and legitimate cross linking. How google is able to differentiate between the two is beyond me, but that crazy google bot has plenty of tricks up it's sleave.
