That thing is more of a portable desktop than a laptop!

Always had good luck with Toshiba:2 cents:

can anyone convince me? I guess it would be worth trying it considering how much time I spend on a computer.

just go to an apple store, in fact you can make an appointment online at apple.com and they'll have someone ready and waiting to shop with you.

You will use parallels and vista quite often at first but the more you get used to the mac the less you will use it. It works very well and is a great way to make the switch. Once you go Mac you'll never go back.

Only work related issue you may have is with custom software if you use any and quickbooks for Mac and PC are not compatible with each other - as in you can't transfer info from the PC version to the Mac version very easily. Also I believe quickbooks for Mac is a 1 user edition.

Yes, get the new mac so I can come play with it or maybe you should wait till the new OS is out. You'll HATE mac for the first week but then you wont remeber how to use a PC.

My last 3 laptops have all been Acer laptops and they have all served me very well. My current one is also a Acer and it's killer I use it almost all the time.

Check newegg too see all the killer models from Acer.

NTSS 06-21-2007 11:34 PM

I paid $700 for my Acer and it's great!

Get an Apple, use Bootcamp, this way you can have the OS you need, and ween yourself into the Apple OS. I guarantee you'll find yourself using the Apple more and more, especially after Leopard comes out in August.
