    how w many of you transfer credit balances between cards?

    I just transferred 50k in credit card balances to one card at 3.99% ccompared to 12.99%

    Im happy for the day, take advantage of that shit, you save a ton!

      I only carry balances on 0% cards, but when I get an offer for one, I'll put everything on that card and pay the minimum until the 0% runs out

              btw, call your credit card company and tell them you want a lower apr, I just got mine lowered from 12.99 to 7.99

                  there are smart ways to use cards and very dumb ways. I dont mind having balances, I always pay well above the minimum due. Just a personal preference i guess

                      i should mention, this is only 1 card, i have 5 and all have 0 balances but 1, each card is good at certain times depending on the purchase and need

                          btw, the money i transferred was a 2nd mortgage/equity line of credit(visa) i took out 4 years ago, and I just moved it onto this card to close out the 2nd

                              Good answer, I was just buggin ya anyway.

                              I got screwed over while in college on a credit purchase. Made a huge blackspot on my credit report despite my fighting it and winning. It's a long story.
                              Anyway, the only resort I had was to get a credit rebuilding card and start at the bottom.. and using it, and having a balance, and paying it and using it and so on for a long time was the only way to get myself back to a point where anyone would give me anything.

                              At the time, I couldn't even get a cell phone because that black spot hurt so bad. But now I own a car, a house and more.
