hm

some stupid shit with apache restart.

TMM_John 06-19-2007 10:00 PM

Valid License not found is not an issue requiring a restart. This means there is NO license found and 99% of the time is due to someone modifying or upgrading the PHP or Zend install, or changing hardware as the license is hardware locked. License expired is the error where a restart would be required if a newer license is on the server.

The apache restart is due to Zend issues where Zend will not recognize a new license without apache being fully restarted. This isn't something caused by NATS. This restart doesn't apply to ioncube encoded installs.

Can you call them? They seem to have good traffic numbers such a waste to see it all go no where

The good news, as far as I know, is that affiliate traffic will still be tracked so nothing should be wasted while the situation is being sorted out.

They've already posted about this earlier today.

I guess NATS is causing some real problems .... I better stick with CCBill.

That had nothing to do with NATS. It was a kernel upgrade on the server which gave an other zend id which in return caused to make the nats license invalid.

all is working now again as it should :) thank you for the great support NATS!

See, that is what I am talking about. You make a little change on your server and NATS is fucked up and many of your affiliates threaten to leave you. It might be a good idea for NATS to find a more user friendly way of running their software so that you do not need to work on possible sources of errors. I mean, who knows what a kernel file is? I don't and I am sure most people don't know either. LOL and what is Zend? LOL Either you have a valid licence or youy don't. Why would you always need to beg for support if you make changes to your own system that is no biz of NATS at all????!!!???
