CCBill: What sort of reports would you, as an affiliate or program owner, like to see
We are finalizing the reports for our new admins (client and affiliate, expected to be released toward the end of the summer) and wanted to get some comments/suggestions from the community on what they would like to see. Please throw all suggestions/ideas/brainstorming topics, etc out.
We are saving loads of data in our DBs, what would you like to see? how frequently you run some reports vs. other reports, in what format would you like the data, whats your ?dream? report, etc. This is an open forum, all input will be appreciated and considered |
I'd love to see tighter integration with Google Analytics ?
it'd be great to see what search phrases actually led to sales :thumbsup |
Do you guys already have a mobile version of the stats? If not, that would be nice. Just a simple quick breakdown of daily/weekly/period/monthly raws/uniques/sales that I can pull up on my phone real fast.

Would you please give an ETA for this "new system" The Q and A has been going on for a very long time.

and with the amount of affiliate system software packages out there you would think they would just look under the hood of the others and get their shit done all though, I would imagine we are in for another year of "questions"....LOL |
i would like to see what was the url who sent the sale.
Beside this point your stats are very good. |
An api for those that can develop their own appl for analyzing data (and not only) would rock big time.

im just talking about reporting, which is one of the last parts of the project... we have the data, what do you want displayed, is the question the other thread had some reporting points, but i want to ask about reporting specifically and only reporting its due toward the end of the summer, aug/sept, around then |

The ability to put any random text at the end of the affiliate code, for example have &subid= at the end of the url and I could put anything I want there like bbwgirl1 so the end of the url would be &subid=bbwgirl1 now when i get a signup and I see the referral url had that at the end I know where the signup came from. Allow it to be changed on the fly, if I have to go in and create a new sub account that will be a big pain in the ass on a large scale. Show the ip of the hits/signups in stats area. Show user agent. I like this feature because I can see what browsers they are using and can detect how much traffic users zango for example. I know that is not exactly what you were asking for but those are things I would like to see with the new update. Thanks, Will |
Referring URLs on joins...:(

any specific/particular way you want this info reported? we can create some obvious reports around that info, but the more specific you guys get, the more we can understand concepts and use those for other reports as well so far, most of the suggestions in the few threads i started on the boards, we have already planned, plus we are going to import most, if not all of the reports currently in the admin we are asking one last time before the train leaves in the interest of being thorough and in an attempt to try to avoid client/affiliate complaints about missing or not thought of reports after the release |
Is the system going to be able to have affiliates to simply have one aff ID for all the ccbill based programs?.. this will be great for cross and upsales. And people who want to sell off a site wont have problems with affiliates and so on..
I know it has nothing to do with the Q you asked just now, but I know it was mentioned a couple of months a go and was wondering if this is going to happen. Sebs |
yes it is, we had to rebuild it from scratch to add that feature, that was a common request

How about a compare feature? For example you can either run 1 program or ALL right now for combined affiliates. If you look at my id (1020450) I have like 90 programs. Some active, some not. I'd like to be able to compare one program to another over X period.

brad, absolutely

Affiliate:
-Detailed and unlimited Campaign tracking -Code to append to any link that will work as a catch all for redirected traffic. Think 404 traffic. -Webmaster referral revenue earned displayed online in check reports, parsed per sponsor. -Webmaster referral revenue earned displayed on sent check invoice, parsed per sponsor. -Emails on rebills not just sales. -Cookie expiration information displayed in sponsor program details. Client: Detailed and unlimited Campaign tracking Rock on! Looking forward to the upgrades :) |

Then I want to know what made the sale... as in down to the site... So give me the site and the referrer and I am happy. |

A simple text interface, no pop-up's, no unecessary graphics or plugins, a longer timeout, and a fully customisable report that can be emailed would be the basics for me, for both affiliates and site owners.

They are all ears on new features, improvements, etc. I have been fortunate enough to work with them and have them work on some new features that would make CCBill rock even more! ~Kristin |
