Hey yall just wanted to introduce my self... :-P I'm Dan, I've been reading this forum for about a year now just signed up a week or so ago... I've been dabbling a bit with making a review site, kinda screwing around with it to see what happens... have nothing but time on my hands. Any way Just wanted to say helloooo :-P and any advice good and or bad would be greatly appreciated if any one wants to check it out... its www dot club8teen dot net <--- lol havent made 30 posts yet hehe --->
Also I was wondering if its better to have some one else host your site or to host it your self. I have my own commercial connection and have been running it off of that while I figure out exactly what I want to do with it... Is it better to get a dedicated server or is it just fine to run it my self... Thanks

welcome to GFY! As far as the hosting goes...I guess that depends how big your site gets. hosting it yourself may be fine for now..but once you start bringing in alot of traffic I would have to say it's best to go dedicated.

Welcome to the board. Well, nice site for beginner. Read GFY and make your site better. Few things I don't like about your site:

- big header (your header dosen't sell anything, doesnt give anything so why is it so big?)
- header in frame (read above)
- banners (I don't like banners, I think surfers want something more than banners. give tham a screenshoot of website or smth)
- I didn't found any reviews there at all, just list of paysite names linked directly to paysites
