George W. Bush lied about weapons of mass destruction and tossed his country in to war costing thousands of lives - but no impeachment.

There are a million reasons but one of the big ones is that the when Clinton was president the republican controlled the house and senate and they controlled it for most of bush's term. If there had been a democrat majority During Bush's first term they may have made more noise. . . then again they may not have.

Pretty simple, when Clinton was impeached Republicans controlled the Congress. For Bush's 6 years Republicans controlled Congress.

First off Clinton was impeached, not tried. He was impached for lying under oath.

As far as trying to impeach Bush based on "lying about WMD", it might be a bit of a tough sell when most of the other side of the aisle also believed it to be true. Even Clinton, before leaving office, believed it was true.

no one is demanding it because both sides were wrong. Fact is bush got most of his info on WMD from what the CIA gathered from the Clinton years. Both sides would be burnt.
