Leave for Vegas in less then a week...
On the 21st me and a couple buddies take off for Vegas for 5 nights.
So far we have a couple shows planned, and a couple clubs have been recomended, but where are the good places to eat in Vegas? So far we have these night clubs: Tao Ghost Bar Tryst Studio 54 Tangerine Pure Lil Darlings Rhino These Pool Club: Bare The Beach Venus These shows: Cique Du Soleil "O" Blue Man I figure between all that and just seeing the sights and what not we will end up pretty busy still. But where are the best places to eat? Besides buffet at the Mirage and Grand Lux there isnt anywhere I have been told to really eat in Vegas. Last time I was there we ended up eating in dives or at the same places because we didnt know where to go to eat. So anyone have any suggestions? Any opinions on the places we have "planned" so far? Aside from "O" being on the 21st (booked already) everything else is just kind of a rough plan of attack. EDIT: Is it worth buying front of the line tickets from vegas.com for any of the clubs? |
the buffet at the rio is my fav
maggianos for pretty damn good italian (or noras if you want to head off the strip) - go family style head west on flamingo and have mexican at mercados... i like that place there are a ton of restaraunts on the strip you shouldn't have a problem, but i've found that most are just expensive and focus more on the atmosphere & presentation moreso than the food good luck btw, tryst on friday, pure on saturday... you'll thank me later |
i dont know about the tickets from vegas.com but whatever you do DO NOT buy those "vip passes" that taxi drivers try to sell you... they are NEVER honored by the hot clubs on fri/sat
fuck vegas.com tickets, just walk up to security and say "hey i have me and X amount of friends... how much will you need to get us past this line" & pay that smoothly fuck waiting for 2 hours in line there's always a hidden "menu" everywhere in vegas, $ talks |
I love PF Changs in the Aladdin/Planet Hollywood.

Thanks guys :)

Also on Sunday do the clubs die like they do here? Thats the only night we are unsure of whats going on, esspecially since no shows play that night (that we want to see) Any more ideas? |
Any other ideas, maybe the best place for hot chicks, lol

If you like buffets go to Bellagio.

I would skip the the blue man group and see ANYTHING else instead.

We are at the Monte Carlo. We wont mind paying though if its good. :) Got me a good little camera to take with me everywhere too, being that its 100+ there I am hoping its mostly bikinis where we go. Although for the clubs I'm a bit unsure as to what to wear as I doubt boardshorts and a tshirt will cut it. I guess jeans wont be too bad inside though. |
hmmm...I left for Vegas 5 years ago.

Whats the weather like this time of year like 500 degrees in the shade?

So not all that hot. Between 25C and 40C |
nice at night
Our nights have dropped to the 80's, it has been very nice. During the day it has been anywhere from 105 to 112 in some parts of the city. If you are looking for dinner, stay away from buffets. Good god, there are some fabulous places to eat like N9ne steakhouse (Palms), Capital Grille (Fashion Show Mall), Triple George (downtown), Roy's (East Flamingo Road), etc. As far as shows, go see Zumanity at the New York New York. The Fashionistas show is not bad if you are really high. and yeah, Rehab at the Hard Rock is a must see. here is also Ditch Fridays at the Palms. Lots and lots of hot fucking chicks. Good luck....
