Yahoo deactivated my email account
 

Has anyone ever had an email account "deactivated" at Yahoo??

One i had for years all of a sudden is deactivated.
I eventually got to a page that told me that was the case.

Didn't use it for much, but there was stuff I kept that I wish I archived somehow before it got deactivated....

Anyone know of a way to get a hold of some human somewhere at Yahoo to ask why?

I had one deactivated because I hadn't logged into the mail part of it in so long.

yep a few years ago it happened and I couldnt get an answer from anyone as to why. I still cant re-reg it to this day lol

I had that fuckin email for like 5 years.. :Oh crap

I think you have to log in at least once a month. There should be a way to reactivate it if it hasn't been too long.

I login 1-2 times a week on this email addy.

Non-use couldn't have been a factor

they deactivate it if you don`t login at least once every month or 3 months, ..I don`t remember
you can always reactivate it, the bad part it`s that your email content was already "vanished" , there is no way to recover any file/message you had.

yahoo e-mail sucks anyway.. use gmail

in the terms you agreed on, it say they will deactivated it if you dont use it

I'd kill them if they deactivated my account!

Happend to me again long time ago and lost it for good

The are fuckers, they deactivated my account too. I had there a lot of emails
and photos. They somehow reopen the account after like 5 login attempts
but all emails was gone. Good deal yahooo!

Could be worse...

You could have a Yahoo email account in China and be serving 10 years in Club Fed for using it to say "booger".

I login automaticly to yahoo mail simply by using yahoo messenger so inactivity cannot happened to me no matter do i use mail or not :)

yahoo and hotmail shuts down after you dont login for a set amount of time
