Internet connection in Rome, Italy

To all italian webmasters here, maybe you can help me out with this.

Let's say I just arrive in Rome, I have some $$ with me and I'm searching for a decent apartment (one nice room is OK) in a decent area and also with possibilities to connect to the Net..

I want to be connected all the time (cable like) with no additional costs. Right now I have cable...

I saw an offer on Tiscali.it for ADSL (35 Eur), unlimited access. But I have to pay also for using the phoneline, right?

I also need to know, if possible, how much is the rent for a small room (decent one though) for 3-4 months.
