Well, that just about scared the shit out of me...
So, I'm sitting here doing my usual thing (no, not jerking off) when all of a sudden - WHAM! A power surge rips through my house. It's the first one I've ever seen. At least that's what I assume it was.
Everything went nuts for a second and then went off and came back on. I was most worried about my HDTV, but it came back ok (sporting a nice error message for a moment). The DVD player, Tivo and surround sound all came back. The lights came back. My scanner, printers, cable modem, router, etc all came back. My laptop seemed ok too.... ...but not my desktop. Son of a bitch! Dead. Nothing. I tried the button on the front. Nothing. I tried the switch in the back. Nothing. I checked the power strips - both getting juice and functioning normally. Mother fucker. I panicked for a few minutes and then tried the switch on the back of the tower again, and thankfully, it worked that time! Whew. And that my friends is my scary story of the day. |
Holy shit. Now they've come for you too. Been there, done that. I hated the bright light the most.
The truth is out there. :uhoh |
At first I believed in the surge as well. That was before I found the scars on my skull. Bastards.

The first symptoms occured roughly 3 months after the implant was put in place. Enjoy your life while you still can.
