I'm sure there are a ton of different names for it, but I know it as 'Mir' after the russian space station/satellite or something like that :)

Donkey Punch 06-13-2007 02:17 AM

it's a bottle cap in most bars i've been too, watch out ordering this one in the clubs, bartenders are notorious for making this a nonalcholic drink off the tap and pocketing your money as nothing show sup missing from the inventory...

Sarah_Jayne 06-13-2007 02:47 AM

not sure but it sounds nice actually

aico 06-13-2007 02:50 AM

Vodka Ricki

Angry Jew Cat - Banned for Life 06-13-2007 02:57 AM

seriously, you can't even taste the difference between a bottlecap with or without alcohol. i used to work in a club. there were bartenders who'd pocket 50-100 dollars a night just shorting people on this drink alone.

stickyfingerz 06-13-2007 02:58 AM

Vodka Gimlet

A bottlecap is sweet and sour, midori, and beer

Then they must not have a clue how to make drinks in Edmonton, my bad, didn't know that fact.

Was 7up or sprite in all the Vodka Gimlets we made back in like 1990 or 1991 when I worked in a restaurant with a bar. But I might be confused. Maybe a Vodka Seven??

fris 06-13-2007 07:05 AM

i looked up all the drinks mentioned here, the kamikaze is the closest.

bobby666 06-13-2007 07:15 AM

Vodka Rickey (or Ricki) has just what you described:

So does the Slime

I can't believe there's such a debate on what you call vodka seven with some lime... I mean it's not like it's a complicated drink with lots of ingredients.

seeric 06-13-2007 03:25 PM

i call it waste of time.

lol.

drink jagermeister.

nah, j/k

i drink grey goose with soda water and a lime twist all the time. the 7up is too much sugar. i've never heard anyone in the u.s. ask for that drink in a club by any name other than vodka 7up, splash of lime.

who's debating? Sometimes the most simple drinks are the most complicated to make, less ingredients = less room for error. If a guy finds a drink he likes, he'd like to know how to get it again.

Exactly what I'd order if I wanted to get the same drink from every bartender.

"Vodka Seven with a Splash of Lime, Please"

Would you order a greyhound or vodka n grapefruit.

JuiceMonkey 06-13-2007 04:19 PM

isn't it just a high ball w/lime?

jonesonyou 06-13-2007 04:20 PM
