Two years I think. Works great.

Rochard 06-12-2007 10:59 PM

Last December I had a bunch of people from ICS over to my house, and they saw my five year old monitors - and had the bals to mock me. A few months later I went out and bought matching 24 inch dell flat screens.

Love them.

Turboface 06-12-2007 11:02 PM

Ya, I've had my Sony 21" CRT for a few years now. When the UPS guy showed up with it (the box was huge), he said, 'Your new TV is here.'. I told him it was a monitor for my computer and he just gave me a weird look - lol

Actually I am really looking into these 22"+ widscreen LCD monitors. I was drooling in the monitor department of CircuitCity the other day checking them out.

I had dual sony crts (still got em, but not using) and switched to dual 22" wide screen samsung syncmaster 225bws I love them. I was a gamer so I held out forever with the crts. The 22"s are even faster than my crts were, and my office stays fuck all cooler. lol

Martin3 06-12-2007 11:09 PM

24" Acer I bought last June. Before that it was a 19" NEC crt that I've had since about 1998 or so.

1 years and 3 months - 19 inch Samsung SyncMaster 940bf LCD. I love the monitor, but I want a bigger one.

Donkey Punch 06-12-2007 11:24 PM

The oldest one I have in use is a trinitron from Dell. It dates back to the late 90's. 1998 I believe.

It's been looking funny when you turn it on (streaks and stuff). Works well after its been on awhile.

tolik 06-12-2007 11:26 PM

almost 4 years 17` samtron

My theory on that is its the same as when new games come out. People go out and buy new systems to play them. We should stick to that same biz plan. :2 cents:
