Why The US Court System Is A MotherFucking Joke

http://abcnews.go.com/TheLaw/Story?id=3119381

Just one of the many reasons.

It was already thrown out.

Thanks, though, for offering a better solution and for finding a reason to create a thread over a frivolous lawsuit that was reported over a month ago.

Old story and I believe the judge who filed the law suit now has his job in jeapordy if he hasn't lost it yet and been debarred.

Shut the fuck up idiot.

The fact that it makes it to the courts is the point.

You must be new to this whole court thing. See, anyone can hire someone to do something. The fact that this guy was already in power makes it that much easier to bring it before the court. Strange that a Judge can bring a court case before court, huh?

You'll catch up to now within a month and a half and things will once again be allright in your world.

oh yeah, in case you missed it, Paris Hilton is in jail. I know you are behind, just want to get you up to date.

spunky99 06-12-2007 06:59 PM

they talked bout it on the news 2nite, it wasnt thrown out from what they said..

GatorB 06-12-2007 07:00 PM

Hoe does a guy filing a lawsuit make the system a joke? Anyone can file a lawsuit doesn't mean it doesn't get thrown out. People that make statements like that don't know much about our legal system.

LiveDose 06-12-2007 07:00 PM

Yeah whatever loser.

Sorry, didn't know topics have to be cleared with you.

You are still missing the point.

Because the person who is suing is a Judge who deals with law suits, and it makes him look shady and supportive of frivolous law suits, which if is the case, all of his rulings can be over turned.

He originally sued Custom Cleaners for about $65 million under the District of Columbia consumer protection act and almost $2 million in common law claims. He is no longer seeking damages related to the pants, instead focusing his claims on two signs in the shop that have since been removed.

He alleges that Jin Chung, Soo Chung and Ki Chung, owners of the mom-and-pop business, committed fraud and misled consumers with signs that claimed "Satisfaction Guaranteed" and "Same Day Service."

Pearson, representing himself, said in opening that he wanted to examine the culture that allowed "a group of defendants to engage in bad business practices for five years."

An attorney for the Chungs portrayed Pearson as a bitter man with financial troubles stemming from a recent divorce who is taking out his anger on a hardworking family.

"This case is very simple. It's about one sign and the plaintiff's outlandish interpretation," attorney Chris Manning said."
