Fuck Domainers!

Domaining is OK, but WTF?!? Its been 40+ mins I am trying to find out a new domain for myself but every piece of shit is already taken, with no website on 99% of them. :disgust

I'm in the same boat. That's why anytime I read the newspapers and some new trend is talked about, I try to register it. Gotta get the domain before an concept/idea/trend becomes too popular.

Barefootsies 06-12-2007 06:39 PM

Amen...

:disgust

LiveDose 06-12-2007 06:42 PM

Yeah fuck them... LOL

msan 06-12-2007 08:17 PM

Fucking domainwhores...I'll be stuck registering gibberish domain names.

Angry Jew Cat - Banned for Life 06-12-2007 08:19 PM

what's going to happen you aks?

people are going to actually start paying the ridiculus prices domainers want for semi-decent at best domains...

EBORG9 06-12-2007 08:32 PM

IT's real estate, just like ...."Real Estate".

You don't expect people to stop buying land do you?
No difference.

Most people have no clue what a domain is worth and will give you a serious offer for a PR7, Strong Keyword, or Phrase, over 5 years old, with thousands of backlinks....$150. And get mad at you when you don't accept.

As soon as the amateurs realize the web is not easy money, and Google cracks down on fraud, and MFA's...it will be a good market again.

Those bastards!! How about the guy who registered SEX.COM way back when. I wanted that domain!!!

LOL.

Tempest 06-12-2007 09:22 PM

I'm curious how domainers actually make money on these domains they register and then just put up one of those PPC SE type FEs... for some reason I thought it was from people that would type their search phrase in the url/goto box of their browsers. And so the browser would try a .com domain... but I've noticed that the browser tends to perform a search on google instead.

nadanada 06-12-2007 10:09 PM

amen. there have been times that i have wanted some pretty random domains that i was certain nobody could ever want that of course were taken. you try to see if there is an actual site but nope. either nothing on it or just a crappy portal.

It's the unresolved/blank page domains that piss me off.

madawgz 06-12-2007 10:37 PM

dont be pissed because you didnt register it first ;)

woj 06-12-2007 10:59 PM

What pisses me off when some wise guy, registers shitty domain for $10, then 3 days later tries to sell it for a $100...

Zuss 06-13-2007 01:13 AM

it takes me like 5-10 minutes to come up with a suitable domain name. It's just obvious that domains like camsluts.com or interracialsex.com are not availabe anymore.

The Duck 06-13-2007 03:14 AM

The domains that does not even have a page at all is what gets to me..

d-null 06-13-2007 03:53 AM

registry fees should be higher to increase the cost of squatting

GigoloJustin 06-13-2007 03:55 AM

give up =) slava will own the internet and all domains before 2011. i read it in the bible.

BucksMania 06-13-2007 04:42 AM

well soon the most of us will buy domains only from the aftermarket

the domains got too cheap anyway, so soon we will be willing to spend like $100 for below the average names on the aftermarket

Makis77 06-13-2007 05:20 AM

register fee's for premium tv domains are worth $$$ and more per year for this reason.
ICAAN is going to raise the com reg fee's in the near future.

Many people will drop domain that time ;)
look out for it
