TeenRevenue cancelled my account
Because i asked them how they count hits which they refuse to answer and because i asked why Evil Chris refuses to give affiliate support :1orglaugh
They "don't like your approch on how you like to resolve issues". Holy pot kettle black batman!! :1orglaugh:1orglaugh |
seriously it would have taken one line of response to get the issue resolved. :error

|

|
Frank nobody gives a fuck about you...lol :1orglaugh The day you start acting like a mature adult MAYBE and I say MAYBE someone will take you seriously, in the mean time keep taking all of your pathetic little problems to boards, where people "have" to listen to your constant whinning!

What would your solution have been to finding out this information? |
Will this be a popcorn thread? Maybe. Pulling up a chair.

Did they let you know by email or something?

Why wouldn't a program tell an affiliate how they count hits...

Customer support is customer support. Yes, sometimes it is very difficult dealing with "annoying" or "irate" customers, but thats the job. Thats what it entails. Answering questions, making pissed off people happy, creating goodwill... |
Bad business for your side, but I'd love to hear their side.

im sure this is a simple case of you not sending enough traffic for them to put up with your whining. in case anyone on gfy didnt notice, this is not the first time people have refused to do business with franck. i seem to remember gts and also a tgp refusing in the past, and thats just off the top of my head so im sure theres more. franck just doesnt seem to learn his lesson.
act like a bitch and get treated like a bitch. |
Okay here's my take.
- Everyone knows I think Franck (along with 98% of the rest of the board) is an idiot and a whining little baby. BE THAT AS IT MAY, this is a bullshit move by Teenrevenue. Everyone has a right to be treated fairly. Everyone knows Evil Chris never responds. I've received 1 response from the guy when I am asking for tools to promote their program and I just get a simple "nah we don't have it". That took 2 weeks to get on icq. Now if my measly 2 sales a month ass could get the right tools he needed maybe I'd turn into a 20... and in a year a 200. Who knows right? But I am now limited to pushing what I can and them going on a backburner to those who can supply what I need. Next, Franck THIS TIME didn't come right to the boards. He simply asked "Do you track first or second page uniques" and he COULD NOT get a response! How fucking easy is it to say "first" or "second"? Even if someone called me at 2am I could answer a simple bullshit question like that and he DESERVED a response. After weeks of waiting he FINALLY piped up, and now his account is cancelled. So now if I press Submit Reply, is my account going to get closed? Who knows, these guys seem to make their OWN rules. They don't like how someone responded, they close their ears. Now that is fine, if they had answered the question and he had started saying "Omg these assholes took 2 weeks to say 'first' I hate them lolz" then I'd understand. So basically, TR acted like a bunch of assholes and burned Franck. If they are fine with that, that's great. But that sort of shitty PR when you look at the facts just means they can press the ban button any time they see fit. Hmmm I wonder what else they do just because they CAN? |

gotta agree with brad on this one.
franck has been known to ruffle some feathers but i thought his question was polite , short and to the point. he just wanted to know first or second page clicks...he wasnt even specifically asking teenrevenue i dont think. after not getting any response he got a bit testy, maybe not the best way to approach the situation but on the other hand , its kinda like a snub when you know they have seen the thread and choose not to respond.. keep in mind there are non-affiliates who view the thread that want to know and are interested in promoting the sites like myself but dont feel the need to repeat the question if its alreadt been asked. |
Lucky you! I've been trying to get my account closed for about three weeks now without any success. No responses to any of my emails.
I guess outgoing affiliates don't merit support. |
I hate agreeing with Brad.
|
uh oh everyone is agreeing
|
I'm starting to learn this guys, 1. before promoting a sponsor, contact them and make sure they agree that they WILL be contactable if you promote them
most claim and lie on their set-and-forget affiliate sites that they have great support and are there for you whenever you need any promo/info etc .........also, I'm agreeing with Brad & Smokey |
comical...
|
Why is a big secret how they count hits ?
And cancelled your account for this ?????? |
Little Lupe paid for my kids car... I love that chick!

of money by the looks of the replies.......I would be flattered. |
franck why don't you open up your own sites? it's easier and you don't have to deal with anybody just merchant and hosting people :)

I have to agree. Back in the day, i could never get any answers from Evil Chris. I remember it took close to a month till i finally heard back from him. I kind of laughed at the message thinking, 'man..why even bother responding...i've been long gone.' Was quite comical. Oh well, to each their own. |

I'm with FunBrunette and aico.
I doubt that your account cancellation had anything to do with your inane posting on this or any other board. The counting of hits isn't nearly as important as the counting of conversions. In the big picture, as a professional, it goes like this(with ANY affiliate): a. You find an affiliate program that fits your niche, read ToS, Sign up. b. Use available tools, send traffic, etc. c. Make business decision on weather to keep using this affiliate program or not (or to use them more or less than another) d. Repeat. If the traffic you send doesn't match what's on the aff's stats page, remember that it's *their* stats page, and keep their terms in mind. If it says in the aff's terms page that they don't accept traffic from certain areas of the world, then any hits you send that are coming from those parts of the world won't be on the aff's stats page. |

I am seeing more and more that there is a need for a 3rd party affiliate support center. Just like call centers where companies like Bell, At&t, Visa and MC will outsource their customer support service so they know these people will be unbiase and will do the job they are paid for.
I use to run the biggest call center in Canada many moons for a company called Sitel Corporation. We where monitored by our clients and we had to serve EVERY customer with the same respect, tone and courtesy. If a customer was to vocal then we had some pre made answers and if that didn't work they would pass it to a supervisor whom had the power to politly tell the client their behavior was unnaceptable and that they should call when they where calm down. If that didn't work we'd pass the info to the company we where doing the support for. I'm really thinking there's a HUGE opportunity here for someone who knows how to run customer support. |

Doesn't that mean you know how to run customer support? how come you don't jump on this HUGE opportunity yourself? just asking :winkwink: |
