now, this neighbor just moved in yesterday.. and has been a complete bitch to my kid... so i'm thinking i might just sit back , enjoy the action and say nada

It's a bit hard to judge after one day.. I'd totally understand a long term thing.. If anyone can hold a grudge.. it's me.. But one day.. you never know whats going on.. she might have just been fired/found out a friend is dying/your kid might have been making a nuisance etc

I don't get the dilemma ..I would call the police. If nothing else as setting an example for my child.

I agree, sometimes you just have to be the bigger person. And like someone else said, YOU might be next, if nothing else, do it for the safety of your child and home. If you happen to be next, is YOUR child safe from this? That would be my only dilema.

I don't think you can judge a neighbor in just one day. She was moving, things might have been going wrong, lots of stress, sometimes people can get short tempered.

Now she is getting robbed, you don't think you should say anything....but the people robbing her and looking over at your place too and maybe next time you go out, they will rob you.

Kitty, I have known you for about 11 years, was married to your for around 3, watched you go through you pregnancy and labour without any drugs or pain relief, and watched the little girl you call your kid grow into a little Princess until you left the country with her.

Having said the above, I find it hard to believe you are serious or this situation is quite as you explained it ... you are joking right?

If I am wrong? 2 things seem way out of harmony:

1/ What dilemma - calling the police would have been the best option (unless you allowed them to see you and were worried about repercussions)

2/ What are you and the Little Princess doing in an area like that and what are the other neighbours doing?

It would be a very odd thing for somebody to do after stealing a board password.

It would be but it has happened before, when someone forgets to log out and there have been a few that have been hijacked.

you should report them whether you like the neighbor or not. i dont know about you, but i wouldnt want people like that loose in my neighborhood. if they dont get caught chances are they will rob someone else and possibly you.

It may be a crime to witness another crime and do nothing.

What would I do?

I'd call the cops. Because if there's one thing I hate worse than a shitty neighbor it's thieving assholes.

And doing a shitty nieghbor a solid like this can go a long way to breaking down barriers and causing them to act nicer towards you and your kid in future.

BHAHAHA - u guys should know me better than that!

I was pissed last night and just wanted to see what kinda reaction I could get since gfy was a little slow at 3am - of course I caught the whole thing on Video cam (when u have a kid u always have a video cam within arms reach) and called the sherriff.

Found out why the neighbor was so such a bitch though - there was lots of cocaine residue found in the house, along with lithium, vicodin and all kinds of other whacked out drugs... my guess is whoever these burglers were probably knew what she had - this is a small village.

Just goes to show - even when you think you're in a good neighborhood - you have no idea who the neighbors are!... and wealthy people have more money to spend on this shit.. so its definately not ghetto a restricted problem.
