Something I just noticed . . . pretty dumb

Have you seen the Direct TV commercial with Pamela Anderson? The one where she wears her Bay Watch red bathing suit.

Next time it comes on, check out her lower end when they pan back, showing her sitting in the lifeguard tower. They actually blur her ass out.

Too much cellulite? There must be a reason that they have the gall to advertise the sharp picture, but blur out her ass. Must be too sharp of a picture.

That is one thing I noticed about hi-def, people are not quite as perfect as they appeared with an old school set.

Maybe the suit shows too much cheek for the commercial?

Is it thong-like? :D

analog = much more forgiving in audio and video, no doubt about it.

they need to recalibrate the filters

well, after 100 times of looking at her tits, I finally noticed the blurred ass . . . if it had not been blurred you probably would have noticed sooner . . . I am sure I would have

And it's because of this that there will be things like blurring ... or people not using old footage at all of old iconic stars

pocketkangaroo 06-11-2007 09:55 PM

I believe they said that CBS won't put their nightly news in hi-def because Katie Couric looks like shit in it.

The one thing I noticed about Hi-Def is that most people don't know how to use the Manual Focus on their cameras.

Are you joking? That's one of those things that MIGHT be a joke, but then maybe not ...

baddog 06-12-2007 10:01 PM

I am beginning to think they only blur it on commercials that air before 10 PM or something . . . . I am studying the issue.

That's interesting.

I've often thought there are many things that should not be in high def - and, depending, I feel porn can be one of those things. :)
