My daughter lives in Montreal with her mother "my ex" and she is telling me that she has to go to pure french school

[19:05] Danny: your going to put jada in a all french school?
[19:11] Sarah: I don't have a choice
[19:11] Sarah: all the schools are emersion

she says from grade 3 on its all french..

your daughter will attend an english school that teaches only french until grade 4 then they teach a bit of english, then high school is english
if your ex is not from montreal then she will have to attend a pure french school

quebec law makes it hard if you want to go to an english school, there are many requirements

do some research to find out if the kid is eligible

I think all kids should be taught to be bilingual.

Its the other way around.. my daughter was in an english school, and now grade 3 is all french. my ex is not from montreal nor does she know french herself.

edit.. my daughter has only went to school in Montreal, who knows maybe she will do well in all french. *Concern Dad*

my present girlfriend is french, so my son is growing up learning both english and french, I just think grade 3 is too damn soon to be taught only in french.

Send her to private school then back to public. Only way to do it.
