It is sad to think he spent 2 years in jail even, where is justice these days? Is justice only for rich jews these days?

I dont know if i could ever recover from something like that, i would be sitting there for 2 years just about ready to crack everyday, i think i would have to come out of jail and blaze up everyone who helped convict me.

Sounds terrible but i am pretty sure i would snap and just be waiting for revenge.

The kid wants to go to school , I think his chances of getting into a good school are going to be much harder now.

I read the story about him on ESPN's website a few months back and aleays thought it was bullshit.

He is not out. The prosecutors in the case have filed a notice of appeal which will block him from being released.

Wow, it just sucks it took him that long to get out

When I first read about him, I believe that he had offers from some great schools, but now, they wont even look at him.

I'm not so sure about that. This case has generated a fair amount of publicity and any school willing to step up and give the kid a shot will get their fair share of publicity as well.

I believe the reason an appeal has been filed is so the kid will finally give up and sign the plea deal being offered. I have little doubt when he's finally released a lawsuit will be forthcoming against the state for not making the law retroactive and the DA's for not setting his sentence aside. They're protecting their own asses at this point imho. If the kid signs the plea deal, there's probably a provision stating he WON'T file any sort of lawsuit.

i don't believe thats irony but rather an allusion to the teens situation.
