What are the worst acts you have seen in concert?
For me it would probably be Edgar Winter when he brought his brother Johny on.
Fuel caused me to take a nap and have my daughter wake me when it was over. RHCP were just plain disappointing because I looked forward to them so much and they sucked. Kool and the Gang were better. |
Oh yeah, can't forget Leon Russell when he "found God" and his music went to shit.
Worst part about that was it was an outdoor concert, so we sat in the rain waiting for him, only to have him come out and preach to us. |
You went to a Kool and the gang concert?
haha... fuggin' baddog. :D Worst I've seen is a local Canadian act that was called 13 Engines, they played at Sunfest back in the early 90's, came out onstage on a day after it had rained, played one song and then coaxed the audience to throw mudballs at the stage. They were removed bodily from the stage before their 2nd tune could commence. Was hilarious. |
ytcracker
he sucks |
Only 2 bands I've walked out on:
Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Disturbed. Weezer also stood there like statues. |

Kool and the Gang were at a "festival" type concert. I don't know if you remember California Jam in 1974 (probably no reason a Canadian should), but I went to the two Jams that preceded that. Lots of obscure acts I would never go out of my way to see. Quote:

Afterwards I was wondering if they were the same group I thought they were. |
I know some of you are probably fans of this group, but one of the worst opening bands that I ever saw was Wu Tang Clan (incl. ODB) opening up for Rage Against The Machine in the Brendan Byrne Arena in the Meadowlands back in the 90's.
A dozen guys mumbling incoherently over some discordant noise wearing hoods over their heads. Whatever... |
I would have to say the Tragically Hip a couple of years ago... after all the years of waiting to see them in concert they sucked ass :disgust
