Kubica just hit the wall and totalled his car completely :helpme

cranki 06-10-2007 10:49 AM

danke für die info, werd direkt mal reinschaun :)

KimJI 06-10-2007 10:52 AM

They arent tranmitting it live here. Any news about Roberts health?

Doctor Dre 06-10-2007 10:53 AM

No news... but this was probably the baddest F1 crash I've ever seen... his car except the cocpit was totally destroyed BEFORE he started flippign 360s on the track and hitting a 2nd wall really hard.

He hit at a spot that was unprotected (no tires or anything) then did a couple 360s.

They said he's in stable condition.

v4 media 06-10-2007 11:03 AM

There are always bad crashes at the Canadian GP. Not enough gravel traps.

xxxdesign-net 06-10-2007 12:01 PM

entertaining race.. as always in Montreal :)

Doctor Dre 06-10-2007 12:04 PM

Awesome race... I don't like watching F1 normally, but I had a blast ;)

buzzy 06-10-2007 12:06 PM

I've been watching F1 since 1995 and Kubica's accident is the worst i have ever seen...

He is lucky to only have suffered 1 broken leg. Anyway that was the BEST race since a long time, sato had some balls overtaking alonso on the 2nd last lap!

Michaelious 06-10-2007 12:07 PM

Those guys are nuts, so would not do their job.

pr0 06-10-2007 12:08 PM

any of you European bastards use youtube?

if this was a nascar race we'd already have 80 different viewpoints of live streaming video

buzzy 06-10-2007 12:09 PM

there will be vids up in about an hour probally, well they have been from last races

Why settle for small video clips when you can download the full race from bittorrents?

Because most of the people here probably just want to see the crash

Altwebdesign 06-10-2007 12:42 PM

Was very nasty, but shows how much time effort and money goes into crash development, didnt look too good when he hit the final wall, thats got to of hurt his kneck!

Makingcoin 06-10-2007 01:00 PM

Was a horrible crash. He must of been going 100-160mph going into that wall. Right before the hairpin. :(

Aussie-Mark 06-10-2007 01:06 PM

Very nasty crash, shows how damm strong the cockpit in those cars is

Subtle 06-10-2007 01:22 PM

Three Cheers to these drivers! So brave, knowing that they can die any moment, yet they do it. Amazing!!

F1 has grown for me, but there was just TOO much sun today to stay inside!

crockett 06-10-2007 01:56 PM

The worst wrecks I've ever seen have happened in Indy Car..

1) Jeff Krosnoff's crash @ Toronto Molson-Indy has to be the worst wreck I've ever witnessed.

He died in the crash along with a conner worker.

2) Mark Blundell's crash at the 1996 Indy 500 which was the most amazing crash I've ever seen that the driver lived and had almost no injuries.

Info about both crashes can be found here http://www.benchapman.com/project/krosnoff.html

3) Greg Moore's crash in which he died at the 1999 Marlboro 500 in Calf.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greg_Mo...ace_car_driver)

4) Alex Zanardi in 2001 at the Euro Speedway.. He lived but both his legs were amputated in the actual crash. Only reason he lived was because of the fast work of the CART medical team.

Zanardi has come back and driven a few races including a F-1 test but of course could never compete on the racing level he was at prior.

5) Aryon Senna's crash.. not so much because of it being a dramatically bad crash.. IMO it didn't look that bad, however the impact his death had on F-1 was pretty big.

Klen 06-10-2007 02:00 PM

Any youtube video?Toobad why i didnt watch it today.

born4porn 06-10-2007 06:44 PM

I was watching at the time of the crash and it was sickening ... fortunately Robert's hand were moving just as the monocoque shell came to a stop ... then the last I heard he was stable ....

.....I hope he is ok! :thumbsup
