what is the best/fastest way to copy video from the digital video camera to the PC? And I dont use a Mac.

Im not offering the content, simply seeing if someone needs some since this person I just hooked up with has girls and makes pornos which you havent seen yet. Not saying I wont profit anything for referring people, who knows...

And the video question is cuz im getting my own vid cam and need to know what type of stuff I need for my PC to be ready for it.

And, I did the switch about 5 years ago. From Mac to PC. Actually, I had mac and did web stuff, then realized it would be helpful to have both to make sure everything worked right with both. Then I got sick of having the mac cuz of gaming shit and switched exclusively to PC.

get a firewire card, a cable. and some editing software like premiere

So firewire is the way to go huh???

i got the pinnacle too, works great. but you need a fast pc to rip the videos, it takes forever with a slow computer.

Firewire is tops hands down!

Premiere & Sonic Foundry's Vegas Video are your best bets for programs.

If you are really cheap you can always use the Movie Maker that's bundled with XP. It will capture your film effectively.

Firewire has come standard on every mac for the last 6 years. Lol
