Pastors wife gets 60 days in a mental facility after killing husband
 

Anyone catch this amid the Paris Hilton fiasco?

You may remember the story. She shot her 5th generation pastor husband in the back with a shotgun with her kids present, then fled with the kids.

Evidently the judge and jury found that she was an abused wife, and therefore it was not murder, it was manslaughter ("the gun somehow went off").

So the sentance was 3 years total. 210 incarcerated, BUT 60 of those could be in a mental facility, AND she's already served 150. The rest of the time probation. Which leaves a net result of 60 days in a mental facility, then she's out in public as normal on probation. Grocery shoppin' n stuff.

Lets this be a lesson to you! If you need marriage counselling and a divorce lawyer, you can instead kill your abusive spouse with your kids at home, then flee, as long as you can handle doing a couple of months on relaxing drugs and a few months in county jail awaiting trial.

If the preacher had killed his wife he'd gotten life or the death penelty.

It seems if you're a woman you can kill your husband as long as you claim he beat the shit out of you even though there absolutely zero proof of it.

It's amazing how people die when you point a gun at their back and accidentally shoot them. Presumably with a gun that you've accidentally picked up, accidentally loaded, accidentally aimed and accidentally squeezed the trigger of.

Yeah I think the bottom line is the guy is dead and she killed him and therefore her life is forfeit. But it simply doesnt work that way.

In the sentancing, the judge said he didnt feel the public would be served by incarcerating her. I suppose because the only person she wanted to kill was.....killed by her already, lol.

Oh well, something else.
