CaptainHowdy 06-07-2007 10:58 PM

Me neither... hopefully soon one will open in Buenos Aires :)!.

Aussie Rebel 06-07-2007 11:00 PM

me either,

Sebastian Sands 06-07-2007 11:06 PM

Don't go, you'll get addicted and will spend around 4 to 5 bucks for a cup of coffee there, I know I do this 3 to 4 times a day. Got one right around the corner.

Sebs

woj 06-07-2007 11:09 PM

You never had the urge to try it, to see what the big deal is?

Not once.

Einstein Bagels has awesome lemonade though.

beemk 06-07-2007 11:12 PM

ive never drank more than a few sips of coffee in my life, starbucks has some good desserts sometimes though.

zeruel 06-07-2007 11:13 PM

there are so many starbucks branches here in our place... i love cappucino! and mocha frappucino.... hehehe...

rowan 06-07-2007 11:33 PM

I went once, but only because someone important suggested it. It was hard to hear him speak over the LOUD music playing...

The Captain 06-07-2007 11:36 PM

you poor poor soul, starbucks is the best place on earth

nekrom 06-07-2007 11:43 PM

Never been to one either. I have been a few times to the Gloria Jeans coffee chain. But if I wanted a coffee when out, I'd just go to a coffee shop/cafe'.

Corleone 06-08-2007 12:04 AM

SleazyDream 06-08-2007 12:07 AM

baddog 06-08-2007 12:10 AM

mine are better

IntenseAmber 06-08-2007 12:37 AM

Starbucks and I have a love-hate relationship. I love their coffee but hate to pay out the ass for it.

NTSS 06-08-2007 12:40 AM

Me either...I heard they have open networks for internet access. Is this true?

Martina Warren 06-08-2007 12:44 AM

Yum you missing out, i love their caramel frappucinos! But as some one else said, you'll get addicted and end up spending way too much there

bDok 06-08-2007 01:16 AM

place is awesome. each morning I can go to it almost anywhere I ever would be on this rock. wake up and go to the bucks and get some fine coffee.

baddog 06-08-2007 01:25 AM

The one thing I hate abuut travel is that I frequently am at places that only have 1 or 2 . . . in the state.

LiveDose 06-08-2007 01:27 AM

You're not missing much Sly.

markz08 06-08-2007 01:27 AM

i've been there, and the people there are nice... i also like their coffee... (ofcourse its their specialty) and the best thing is they offer a Wireless internet connection...

D 06-08-2007 02:01 AM

Starbucks overroasts their beans, imho.

Gentle_Ben 06-08-2007 02:02 AM

pretty evil company. good on ya

aico 06-08-2007 02:06 AM

Their drip coffee is nasty and made shitty & usually wrong. Lattes and other type of drinks are good though.

TG Rebecca 06-08-2007 02:52 AM

not sure if this counts. :) i've never actually consumed a beverage from there, but i've run in for my mom when she's wanted a cup of their coffee..

Kevsh 06-08-2007 03:52 AM

I boycotted them years ago. Long story, but essentially a friend of mine slipped on ice in front of one here and the evening manager had a waiver in front of her face by the time they called an ambluance. After that Starbucks legal took over and pulled every dirty trick in the book to avoid a lawsuit.

Fucking pathetic corporate bullshit.
Fuck them.

Ah, I feel better now :)

martinsc 06-08-2007 04:02 AM

:( me neither...

dakota1358 06-08-2007 05:07 AM

Never been to one

BlackCrayon 06-08-2007 05:24 AM

I've never been there. It helps if you don't drink coffee.

jdc 06-08-2007 06:41 AM

sad to say, but me too...

djroof 06-08-2007 06:43 AM

1 time only!

Tom_PM 06-08-2007 06:51 AM

I've never been to one either, or any "coffee" shop. I still buy normal ground coffee in the supermarket for like $5 a can and it makes me a pot a day for about 20 days.

alby_persignup 06-08-2007 07:10 AM

I like home-made coffee, no need to go to starbucks

SuzzyQ 06-08-2007 07:14 AM

Dunkin Donuts or nothing. Im not spending 5 bucks for a cup of coffee.... Hell, that about a gallon of gas.

acctman 06-08-2007 07:41 AM

never been and never will... i see 13yo's hyped up on there coffee all the time. when did drinking coffee at 13yo become cool? coffee taste nasty... atleast in my opinon

viki 06-08-2007 07:45 AM

I went inside once with my parents because they wanted coffee but I didn't get anything. They're Russian immigrants and both ordered "talls" like they're used to, except they didn't understand the "our small is their tall" slogan and were both pissed about how small the coffees were.

royaljelly2 06-08-2007 07:46 AM

i guess if ur not a coffee drinker u wouldn't.
i have been to all of them.

Shankz 06-08-2007 07:56 AM

The porn biz funds my Starbucks lifestyle. :(

SykkBoy 06-08-2007 07:59 AM

Poor Sly...although I remember at one time you hadn't tried sushi before either...

I'll second that. Even though I haven't been to a starbucks, I've tried a fw otherr places here or there for coffee and I'll go on record as saying the drip-grind stuff I make at home is as good or in some cases better than what's being sold out there for $2-$5 a cup.

I get some of those flavored creamers sometimes (dairy based, not oil) and that makes for a nice change too.

Secret to home-brewed is: keep your coffee maker ultra clean inside and out, especially the filter (if you have a permanent filter).

Tom_PM 06-08-2007 08:13 AM

If you're not a coffee drinker you wouldnt go? Well yes of course :)

But alot of us posting that we've never been to a starbucks are HEAVY coffee drinkers. We just dont buy into the "lifestyle" of mega dollar coffee bucks.

I drink a pot a day, so what am I saving? Like $40 a day? I'll take it :)

Cha-ching. Bingo.

Nailed it dead nuts on.

Up here it's Tim Horton's. I admit, it's good.... but not THAT much better than my home brewed, and I don't have to drive anywhere to get my coffee.

TubeTitans_SusieQ 06-08-2007 08:20 AM

that's funny, i've never known of people that haven't been to Starbucks, is is world wide or just in the US?

JuiceMonkey 06-08-2007 08:27 AM

I don't drink coffee, but my gf brings me passion tea lemonaid everyday. Or CALM tea (tazo) when im sick. Good shits! But I would never do the 3-4/day route for sure. I don't want yeller teeth :)

WebairGerard 06-08-2007 08:29 AM

yeah you're not missing much. their coffee is overrated.

ClimaxXx 06-08-2007 08:30 AM

I haven't either, and we actually do have a handful around... I don't understand why you feel the need to pay 12$ for a mochawhippedcreamsugarouttheass ice... Hell, I don't even drink Tim Horton's... Some Canadian I am...

xXx

I've been to one with friends who wanted to buy something, but I hate coffee in general. So no, I've never gone to one to buy anything.
