I have never been to a Starbucks
Who else?
Me neither... hopefully soon one will open in Buenos Aires :)!.
me either,
Don't go, you'll get addicted and will spend around 4 to 5 bucks for a cup of coffee there, I know I do this 3 to 4 times a day. Got one right around the corner.

You never had the urge to try it, to see what the big deal is?

Einstein Bagels has awesome lemonade though. |
ive never drank more than a few sips of coffee in my life, starbucks has some good desserts sometimes though.
there are so many starbucks branches here in our place... i love cappucino! and mocha frappucino.... hehehe...
I went once, but only because someone important suggested it. It was hard to hear him speak over the LOUD music playing...
you poor poor soul, starbucks is the best place on earth
Never been to one either. I have been a few times to the Gloria Jeans coffee chain. But if I wanted a coffee when out, I'd just go to a coffee shop/cafe'.
-N |
the coffee is great.. try it ;) but you'll get addicted
i have - maybe 2-3 times. you arn't missing anything
mine are better
Starbucks and I have a love-hate relationship. I love their coffee but hate to pay out the ass for it.
Me either...I heard they have open networks for internet access. Is this true?
Yum you missing out, i love their caramel frappucinos! But as some one else said, you'll get addicted and end up spending way too much there
place is awesome. each morning I can go to it almost anywhere I ever would be on this rock. wake up and go to the bucks and get some fine coffee.
The one thing I hate abuut travel is that I frequently am at places that only have 1 or 2 . . . in the state.
You're not missing much Sly.
i've been there, and the people there are nice... i also like their coffee... (ofcourse its their specialty) and the best thing is they offer a Wireless internet connection...

Starbucks overroasts their beans, imho.
pretty evil company. good on ya
Their drip coffee is nasty and made shitty & usually wrong. Lattes and other type of drinks are good though.
not sure if this counts. :) i've never actually consumed a beverage from there, but i've run in for my mom when she's wanted a cup of their coffee..
I boycotted them years ago. Long story, but essentially a friend of mine slipped on ice in front of one here and the evening manager had a waiver in front of her face by the time they called an ambluance. After that Starbucks legal took over and pulled every dirty trick in the book to avoid a lawsuit.
Fucking pathetic corporate bullshit. Fuck them. Ah, I feel better now :) |
:( me neither...
Never been to one
I've never been there. It helps if you don't drink coffee.
sad to say, but me too...
1 time only!
I've never been to one either, or any "coffee" shop. I still buy normal ground coffee in the supermarket for like $5 a can and it makes me a pot a day for about 20 days.
I like home-made coffee, no need to go to starbucks
Dunkin Donuts or nothing. Im not spending 5 bucks for a cup of coffee.... Hell, that about a gallon of gas.
never been and never will... i see 13yo's hyped up on there coffee all the time. when did drinking coffee at 13yo become cool? coffee taste nasty... atleast in my opinon
I went inside once with my parents because they wanted coffee but I didn't get anything. They're Russian immigrants and both ordered "talls" like they're used to, except they didn't understand the "our small is their tall" slogan and were both pissed about how small the coffees were.
i guess if ur not a coffee drinker u wouldn't.
i have been to all of them. |
The porn biz funds my Starbucks lifestyle. :(
Poor Sly...although I remember at one time you hadn't tried sushi before either...

I get some of those flavored creamers sometimes (dairy based, not oil) and that makes for a nice change too. Secret to home-brewed is: keep your coffee maker ultra clean inside and out, especially the filter (if you have a permanent filter). |
If you're not a coffee drinker you wouldnt go? Well yes of course :)
But alot of us posting that we've never been to a starbucks are HEAVY coffee drinkers. We just dont buy into the "lifestyle" of mega dollar coffee bucks. I drink a pot a day, so what am I saving? Like $40 a day? I'll take it :) |

Nailed it dead nuts on. Up here it's Tim Horton's. I admit, it's good.... but not THAT much better than my home brewed, and I don't have to drive anywhere to get my coffee. |
that's funny, i've never known of people that haven't been to Starbucks, is is world wide or just in the US?

no one will pay more than 12 pesos per a cup of coffee here.. (4 dollars). http://kersz.com/fotografia/images/usa-canadal-71.jpg |
I don't drink coffee, but my gf brings me passion tea lemonaid everyday. Or CALM tea (tazo) when im sick. Good shits! But I would never do the 3-4/day route for sure. I don't want yeller teeth :)
yeah you're not missing much. their coffee is overrated.
I haven't either, and we actually do have a handful around... I don't understand why you feel the need to pay 12$ for a mochawhippedcreamsugarouttheass ice... Hell, I don't even drink Tim Horton's... Some Canadian I am...

I've been to one with friends who wanted to buy something, but I hate coffee in general. So no, I've never gone to one to buy anything.
