Do you have a very common name?
 

There is still always a bit of confusion between myself & the other Sarah at Max Cash, and growing up there was always at least one other Sarah in my classes in school, sometimes there were even two.
In high school there was even a Sarah in my courses whose last name was almost identical to mine, just 2 letters off.

Anyone else have a very common name? Did you get develop a nick name to help solve any confusion?

I was always just Sarah or "Sara with an h" or Sarah W.
No exciting nick names for me :upsidedow

I've met one or two Michaels before...

kill the other sarah and you'll be the only one. that and you'll get street cred. word

i can't think of meeting anyone else with my name.

My goal is to marry someone with an unusual last name to make up for my super common first name!

hmm..yeah sarah is a very common one..like john, michael, rose,ann,et.al. it's like when you stand in the middle of the mall and call out "john", bet someone will always be lookin' back at you!hahaha

fuck yeah, "Antonio" is a nick that has nothing to do with my real name but my name and my surname are very common

I adopted the nickname "D" to distinguish me in my personal circles.

problem is, in different forums (e.g. GFY), "D" is more commonplace than my actual name.

When I introduce myself at shows, people are always like "D-Money? Dwreck?"

And I have to be all like "do I even come close to looking like those goons?!?"

And on topic ..not only am I a Sarah but my maiden name is Jones ..so, no excitement there

We have two Jeff's in the office.

I order them chronologically by date of hire and call one "Jeff-sub-one", and the other "Jeff-sub-two."

We have more Jeff's than we have Sarah's here.

i have such a old school name...the only other shirleys i have met are 50+.

Lets add another Sarah to the post :) Seems I meet a new Sarah everyday. I was looking at some mixed drinks online last night and they have a ton named Sarah. It's cause we rock !!!

Never can have to many ..technically I am a Sarah Jayne but nobody ever calls me that.

My little boy had dental work done today & is feeling icky...he leaves for 2 weeks on Saturday to visit family back East so until then I won't be going out.
Call me if you girls are out Sat night, my gf is in town from San Fran this weekend & we are heading to Scottsdale!

Yeah I have a common name but I never had other Brad's in classes oddly enough. Though my middle name is SUPER common.

My first job the half owner's name was Brad, so I became Little Brad. That sucked and I opted for BradM instead.

I've only met a few Jeanette's over the course of my life. I like it though. I feel more unique, even though I feel like the name "Jeanette" has never really suited me, it's still nice to be a little different :)

Also, my last name is also a first name, so growing up in school some teachers would call me by my last name by mistake Lol
