Computer opinions
I'm looking for a computer. For the last 5 years all I needed my computer to do was simple graphics, (photoshop) email and surfing. I have a P3 1.0G chip. Now I need to do video editing but not HD just internet stream. What do you recommend?
I saw this barebones kit (see below) from Tiger Direct for $349.99, what's your opinion? Would you go Windows XP Pro or Vista? I’m also kicking around the idea of a laptop, maybe a Mac? I always heard that Mac's are better for graphics and video, what do you think? If I can keep the cost down (tiger direct) I’ll go for both. KimJI - What do recommend?

Anything is a big upgrade from a P3.
|
Yeah tell me about it. Should I not worry about what I get because all the new stuff will do what I need?
|
yeah pretty much! although the new pc computers will come with vista and youll find youll run into compatibilty problems with at least 50% of stuff not released in the last 6 months.
