The smarter you are, the more life sucks. You see how everyone is manipulated by the elite who control the money and power. You're smart enough to realize that santa claus is more likely than baby jesus. We are nothing more than slaves.

Sometimes I wish I was stupid so I could sit and watch shit like According To Jim and laugh along with the laugh track. I could spend every cent I make and then some without worrying about retirement. I could believe there is a point to life.

You're obliged to pretend respect for people and institutions you think absurd. You live attached in a cowardly fashion to moral and social conventions you despise, condemn, and know lack all foundation. I tptally agree with at least one profound part of your thoughts and that is that generally speaking the more intelligent you are the unhappier you are. This is certainly not in every case, but clearly it is harder to cope in a world like it is now being a deep thinker this is very true.

However I don't agree that you must compromise your ethics or belief systems for anyone, regardless of intellect. It is more a choice to stand up for what you see is right. Having courage not intellect.

Remember at the end of the day its just YOU and the MiRROR. I think you would be happier if you liked who you saw there. Make the changes... its worth it.

The more intelligent you are the more that normal "mainstream' things you see for what they are. Control.

Yep, I can say I've felt that way but in the end there is no point in spending too much time thinking about it. Just look at the ways you can get what you want from this world and enjoy life for what it is.
